Simplistic & Serene Sunday-So Sweet & Soul Soothing!

After watching the K-State Game last night, it wasn't too long after that when I retired to bed.
My team won, of course, but it seemed touch and go for a while. Not long after that, Monica called and we had a nice chat for about 15-20 minutes, and then I wished her a pleasant evening.
I woke up this morning a little later than usual, but still managed to get down to business in the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
This time around it was a lot slower than usual! I was performing other tasks and was in a relaxed mood--so was Kitty, as the title image projects. She is relaxing today too!
Sundays are meant to be days of rest though. This one will essentially be that, unless I decide to do a few tasks at the locksmith shop house though. That still remains to be seen.
Once I finished the first foray into the WAC, it was time to catch a glimpse of the new day!
It was in the mid 60s at the time these were taken.
The day was gorgeous, and only in the afternoon will it get a little warmer.
I could not ask for more than what this day seems to be shaping up to be.
This was an excellent way to start the day!
Walking back inside, I began performing some more necessary tasks. I kept at that for about an hour. One of those tasks was writing a post for my book promotion website !
It took a bit of time, since there are still other things that I wanted to do, and time seems to be running away on me! Happens to us all, doesn't it?
I did manage to finish it though, although it took a while for me to come back to it.
When I went back outside, the sun was blazing, but we were still only a hair above 80 degrees, so that was not too bad, in my opinion.
Fall seems to be in the air. Still a lot of green is around here though.
I wish that Fall weather could remain for the rest of the year, and that Winter could possibly take a year off, but I know that won't happen. Wishful thinking doesn't hurt though.
It wasn't too long before Monica got off work and stopped by for a second to drop off a bag of clean clothes. Even though she got off early, she was still tired.
Hopefully her outing with her oldest daughter this evening will go as planned--she doesn't even know what it is going to be. I also hope that she feels a bit better after it too! At least I got to see her for a couple of minutes, so that was nice.
Instead of going anywhere today, unless I get a lock call, I am likely going to finish some things up and hit the bead early again. I haven't felt the best today.
We all have those times, so I just want to rest and relax.
If anything else comes up of importance, it'll be posted tomorrow!
ANOTHER FRISATSU IS COMING TO AN END. ALL IN ALL IT WAS A GOOD ONE, BUT IT WENT WAY TOO FAST! I WISH EVERYONE A NEW WORK WEEK COMING UP!

Great Sunday here in Edmonton as it got up to 20 C. The first snowfall comes to Edmonton 5% of the time in September and 55% of the time occurs in October. For the past 4 months we haven't needed much, if any gas and electricity for heat, but even with global warming costs will skyrocket again.
Glad to hear that, Roger. I do know what you mean though with the out-of-control rate hikes on utilities to push a somewhat inane agenda in my opinion!

Spent the afternoon with a friend who knows a lot more about computers than I do, trying to figure out how to copy pages from my manuscript to put in this #@%& proposal I've been working on. I even signed up for Adobe Acrobat Pro, because my friend thought we could make it work from there...not exactly...did manage to get the pages into a PDF file, which will send on with the proposal...will let the computer whiz there figure out how to put the pages where they need to go...My computer is SO SLOW, but even though I have the new one, have to get my internet provider guy over here to figure out why I can't operate both computers at the same time...and have to do some stuff yet to get the new one up to snuff! I try not to hate technology, but sometimes it's hard.
Oh, well -- a new week -- maybe things will go better.

Sounds like a lot of technological issues, but it sounds like you are in good hands. I'm sure everything will get sorted out. The new week will help.
Get some rest my friend, our health comes first! Great game last night and today for the Chiefs, although the Bears are more like Teddy Bears these days.
Cowboys lost to Arizona and that was a big surprise and disappointment we were... looking forward to an undefeated teams game for both teams October 8th here. Oh well it will be a great game anyway.
We'll take care of Arizona next week.
Enjoy a restful day. I tried.... but too much to do here at home. However, I did take it easy.
Hope you get some work this week and mostly I hope you feel better soon.

Thanks. I think I did.
I got up at 6 so I could get an early start on the truck again. My uncle and I got the 4 plugs changed. Now plugs 1 and 5 are misfiring. #1 is the first one we changed out roughly a year ago. #5 I figure I did not get it gapped correctly. I also got a full set of plug wires. I hope and pray that will fix it up. The only thing left that I might could do is change out the coil pack (which replaced the distributor).

The trees in your neighborhood have a fall look about them and still have leaves.
So many of our trees here in central Texas have lost some of their leaves due to the drought. They aren't full and healthy looking.
We are hoping for a rainy fall season.

I know that you all have been experiencing that for a while, so it is understandable about the leaves, Sami.
I am also hoping for some more rain in the fall, and perhaps a drier winter..
