Simple, Serene, Supreme, & Solemn Sunday!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
First a recap of yesterday evening as we head into OCTOBER:
I went to pick up my ex to go avail myself of $1.25 off a gallon of gas!
The evening drive was nice. She was outside when I got there.
We arrived at the service station in short order.
A $1.25 off per gallon of gas? You simply cannot beat that!
Then I visited with her and her husband for over an hour before I headed back to the loneliness and solitude of the eBay house.
That drive was decent too. Monica had taken a job cleaning a co-worker's apartment for $17.50 /hr after she got off work yesterday afternoon! Good for her. Surprisingly, I heard from her at almost midnight when she got home! We talked for a while, but then I let her go.
I relaxed, continued watching TV, and ended up sleeping very well.
Waking up around 8:30, I jumped up and got busy with in the Wealthy Affiliate Community pretty quickly!
What a way to jump start the Sunday portion of Frisatsu! Kitty was three for three, and joined me too!
We both had some great rest last night, so she was active for most of the morning and into the afternoon.
When I finished with the initial WAC foray, it was time to head outside a little later than usual to capture some images of the new day, including the title image.
We have made it into the 90s again, According to Monica, who called from work, that will likely be the norm for the next three days! Wow, sure feels like October--NOT!!
The days will be what they are, but we must always press forward, no matter what!
That is how we all can make it these days! It is truly the only way! PERSEVERANCE!
When I ventured back inside the eBay house, it was time to do the daily post on my book promotion website!
It wasn't long before I got that accomplished, as well. I am pleased with the result and the rhythm!
After that, Mel Waller called me, surprisingly--he had a special deal from Skype! That was quite a surprise! I chatted with him for about 20 minutes, and told him my buddy Kevin would call soon.
Kevin called late. I chatted with him, and when that was done, I called Mel back--we've been chatting for a few hours! We have been talking some about future business, so it has been intriguing and very informative too.
I also took images of the late afternoon too! We were 94 degrees at the time!
It should be cooling off at some point soon though! By the end of the coming new week, we should be a lot cooler than the first few days of the upcoming new week!
I sure hope so, anyway! We haven't started to come into fall to experience the hot weather again (I wouldn't mind if the heat invaded a Kansas Winter though).
The rest of the evening will be spent getting ready for the upcoming start to the new week! Frisatsus tend to fly by SO Fast!
I also hope to retire early again for some more rest and relaxation, as well!
Sundays are definitely designed for that!
I will post this very soon, and then will remain on the computer for a while longer. I might even come back on it later too, though I cannot promise that!
There are a lot of smaller tasks that I am still working on,as well!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD A SUPREME, SOLEMN, AND SUCCESSFUL SUNDAY! THOUGH I MADE NO MONEY, I FEEL LIKE I REALLY GOT A LOT OF PRODUCTIVE TASKS DONE. A NEW WORK WEEK IS COMING VERY SOON FOR MOST OF US. OTHER MEMBERS ARE ALREADY THERE!

Another packed day for you, Jeff. And your Kansas temps seem to be matching us in Florida. We are currently in the high 80s, which looks like continuing. Surprising for October, even in FL. Rick and I are off to the UK tomorrow for three weeks. Visiting family and friends. So, I might not be quite so active here for a while. Hope your days continue well. Best wishes, Jenni.
It certainly was, Jenni! Yes, we both seem to be having a quick revisit of the summer temps! I guess that we should be happy since when it gets colder, we will likely be wanting these temps back!

90 degrees is definitely hot for October in Kansas, when we already had been burning 🔥 wood to cut the coldness of the weather, as we are running on a high 50’s at night!
That gas price is a sure savings! Ours run on $3,80/gallon!

Well, my ex has a lot of fuel points to use up, so she calls me, and I pay her cash and get a Great deal1 What's not to love?
We will get cooler again soon, and then I'll be complaining about the cold! That is the way it is! If I had my druthers, I would have Spring and Fall all year round, Marioi!
The new month has started slow, but it is here now!

Thanks for sharing your blissful days in Kansas. Did you say your gas prices are reduced by $1.25? That's pretty good. Our gas price is at $5.43 as of Sunday
01 Oct 2023. My Camry can take about $60 to fill. It's only a 4 cylinder.
I'm glad I don't have a Hummer. I hear that it takes almost $100 to fill and you only get, what, 9-10 miles per gallon. My friend Betty, has a Hummer (she's a show-off). But it comes with a price. She's unable to drive anymore, so her husband drives it.
Here's the thing, her dad was a big deal in the Navaho tribe so she get's $15,000/month supposedly. She lives on an Indian reservation. However, not every Navaho gets the same amount. I guess this depends on the amount the ancestors put in.
Since we moved, I don't see Betty as much. In fact, the last time I saw her, was in Walmart and she on one of those electric carts for the disabled. I am not gonna lie, Betty is a really blessed individual. Super blessed. Her hubby Sith and my hubby Scotty are good friends from the same country.
She throws some of the best parties in town, though. When she gives a party, she doesn't mess around. Bless her heart. She rents out these huge halls, which could cost a pretty penny. I heard that it costs her $10K. This is believable.
The last gig I attended had an awesome DJ, the hall was professionally decorated, it had catering services, and a real live Willy Wonka area with a chocolate fountain where you could dip and make strawberry pops.
Her parties are intergenerational too. One of the features is the circular dancing where everyone forms a huge circle and dance in a clockwise circle. Everyone doing their thing. It is a lot of fun.
Usually there are guest singers and the event usually ends up on YouTube. Betty also has a $10 photo shoot option. Although I've only been to 2 of her parties, I really had some of the best times of my life.
The word is out that she is gearing up for another blockbuster sometime in 2024. One of her step children is graduating from college. I may pencil this one in. If so, I will have to share this with my Wealthy Affiliate family.
By the way, Betty and her husband also have their own traveling band. The set-up equipment is housed in a customized, high-end, Black & Gold luxury van. I think the name of the band is "Exodus." So, I guess it's possible that they do get $15K per month. They don't live like the rest of us.
The last time I saw her, a few years ago, she had gotten heavier, weighing in at about 499 lbs. She may weigh more now. I have been trying to convince her to lose weight for many years. She says that she is allergic to all diet products.
If she can't do it for herself, at least she should try to do it for her kids and grandkids. I'd hate to lose her as a friend. She is extremely stubborn, though when it comes to her weight. On the other hand, she is also very kind and has helped me get through hard times. She is a great listener.
This story also shows that you can have lots of money ($15K/month) but no common sense. Btw, Jeffrey, I didn't mean to take up so much of your time.
I've tried everything to help my friend, Betty Boop (as I call her), but it seems like a futile attempt. Ironically, she has been light on her feet in the past and she is considering to get a personal trainer. So, that is a plus, Thank you Jesus!

I got a special deal from my ex who has fuel points. Our Gas is still up between $3.39-3.69.
As for your friend--what an extravagant lifestyle! I think that many of us have squandered money on things in the past, so to each their own!
I tend to be a lot more frugal these days, until our economy finally gets restored by saner minds!
You should take a lot of these long blog posts--separate them and mini chapters and then publish them as an eBook! You might be surprised at the results!

Yes, Fran. It certainly is. I got $1.25 off each gallon, so it was about $2 something for me. Not too bad.

More like the party in power, Fran. They are the ones that shut our energy down. You believe what you want to believe though. I made the most money with the previous party in power, bar none! That is the only reason that I am semi-solvent still, so we can agree to disagree.

Saturday night I made Breakfast for supper, and my first successful "Potato Cakes". THey were pretty good. :) Dad ate most of them. We started with ten or so and ended with four.
