Moody Monday's Moil!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
After I posted, I heard from Monica again after I had retired to bed. We talked for a while, so that was very nice, as well as a big surprise.
Madison, the oldest daughter, has moved back to Manhattan, Kansas where she attends school at my Alma Mater, Kansas State University. That was a positive development to be sure.
When she had called around 10:30 pm. I chatted with her for a while, and then fell back to sleep.
I slept well, and was excited to get up at 6 am to get the new week's party started.
That was the daily deep dive into the news feeds, and then, shortly thereafter doing the morning foray into the Wealthy Affiliate Community!
It is always the best way to start the new day.
Kitty popped in for a short moment too! Wow--that was a surprise for sure. She didn't stay very long though, but that was okay.
Since the weather today seems to be shaping up to be quite wet, I made a couple of calls to warn of a rescheduled day for the couple of jobs that I had scheduled. If the weather improves, then I will be there to get them accomplished.
Then, I figured it was time to collect a few images of this new Monday.
The temps fluctuated between 55 and 60 degrees, for the most part. Then, for me, it was back inside the house for more work.
The inclement weather we are supposed to have today is definitely on its way, it seems. I was still waiting to see how all of that will turn out. It will present itself very soon.
Until then, it will be a waiting period.
Soon, I will be grabbing another power nap as the inclement day progresses. The day has remained dreary today. The weather patterns simply won't go away.
No matter, I will keep doing what I need to do to combat this.
After a powernap with Kitty, I decided to head into town to try to get that mailbox lock open and the other one installed, but after about 30 minutes, it was a no go! By then, it had started raining anyway.
The drive down had been okay though.
So, I ran another errand and then headed back home. I know we have some bad weather coming soon, and I did not want to waste any more time.
The day sure has seemed to whisk by. Hopefully, the bulk of the inclement weather will pass my area by. We shall see!
The rest of the day will be spent on the computer while that can continue.
I'll be touching up this post here and there, and then it might drop a bit earlier than usual. That will remain to be seen too!
The heavier rain will be coming soon according to the weather forecast!
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HAD A MONUMENTAL MONDAY TO START OUT THE NEW WEEK! MINE COULD HAVE BEEN A BIT BETTER, BUT THAT IS JUST HOW IT GOES MANY TIMES. WE ALL HAVE OUR GOOD DAYS AND OUR BAD ONES!

I know, it's been ages!!! I only pop in now and then at the moment because I'm working so hard!! And Peggy has been a very faithful 'helper' :). She's doing great and is curled up next to me snoring as we speak.

Looks like you made the best of a rainy day. But, that's what we do. It may not be what want but can make it work. You have a good rest of your day.
We're supposed to be getting some of that bad weather here overnight. Hopefully we'll simply get a spring thunderstorm with no damage, those are always the best kind.

I am happy that I was able to read your post today. We had a very nice day today in the 70s, and it was not too hot or too cold.
Storm warnings for this evening and tonight, so tomorrow might not be such a nice day here.
I rode the bus to the senior center today, would you believe we broke down on the way home, They had to send another bus and we had to transfer from one bus to another, but we made it home safe and sound.

The bus breakdown was not too bad, I still got home pretty early without any major problems.
I also hope our weather is not severe tonight and tomorrow, we must just wait and see
