Monumental Monica Monday Morning Means More Monday Momentum!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
After a wonderful Sunday afternoon. and a night filled with thunder storms, I must admit that I got up early enough to welcome the new work week!
Seeing that there were no dueling bats or birds, I got right down to business within the Wealthy Affiliate Community! By now, if you know me, this is a habit that I never forget about!
This is simply how I start each new day! When the traditional morning foray was almost over, Monica called me to see how my day was going.
I, of course, regaled her about the EARLY morning aerial combat between a bat and an entrapped blackbird that had somehow squeezed themselves into the eBay house during the thunderstorm in the wee hours of Monday morning.
This has happened before, and those adventures are too numerous to count.
There seems to be never a dull moment here--stay tuned!
I have previously encountered bats and birds, by themselves, but this was the first time that I have encountered both at the same time! I guess that there is a first time for everything though.
No matter, though, I simply covered my head and went back to peaceful sleep!
Monica did call me a couple of times during this relatively peaceful Monday morning, so that definitely helped with my morning WAC sojourn! This should be her last work day for the next three days, at least.
It was finally time for me to go get my second half of the property taxes paid for this year! UGH!😫
Fortunately, everything went smoothly enough!
When I went to "blood let" the property tax money, the day was still looking pretty good.
I just wanted to get this unsavory task over with!
I got that accomplished, and then I noticed that I had a missed call from my mother, since I had the sound off while in the county building. Apparently, my cousin is raiding her debit card illegally! (And I thought that I had problems!)
While I was talking to her, I was headed over to the locksmith shop house too. I had not gone over there for the past few days, so it was high time that I did! I needed to check the mail, etc. Funny that there was NO mail there!
The sky looked great over there too!
Everything seemed to be okay at the locksmith shop house too!
After that, I left and ran a quick errand, and then I was back at the eBay house in short order, and it wasn't too long before my buddy, Kevin called me on his way to work at the railroad up in Nebraska!
Then he had to go to work, but it wasn't long before Monica called me on her lunch break. That was a pleasant surprise. too! Hopefully, she will be off work in the next few hours.
I must admit that this was an unusual day, but it has still been a very good one!
Since everything has been kind of out-of-order today, I have written some more in my Kindle Vella Story #2, Episode #7.
It has been going slower than I would have preferred, but sometimes that is what happens. We just have to make the most of it when that occurs! This will be the bulk of my Wealthy Affiliate research portion of the day, except, that I might get a short post done on my book promotion website, but that remains to be seen! (If not today, then it will be on the site by tomorrow!)
I will remain on the computer throughout the evening! I hope everyone had a stellar day!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE ELSE HAD ANOTHER MONUMENTAL MONDAY! I FEEL LIKE I CERTAINLY DID!

Morning Jeff.
Good news about Monica calling - not so good news about your Moms debit card. She should call her bank today to cancel the card and order a new one. Either that or change her PIN at an ATM. It's a hard call to make when it's a family member but such activity is of course illegal and the police would become involved. It's up to you and your Mom how you move forward. I think (personally) I would confront the family member about the matter (in a nice way) and say I don't want to involve the police, but the activity must stop now and the money taken repaid back to your Mother otherwise the police will become involved.
I never cease to be amazed by the lack of traffic in Kanus. A bit different to central London where it takes hours to travel a few miles during rush hour.

She has taken measures to protect herself on the advice of her ex-husband who is a Chief of Police in I forget what city down there. Everything has been attended to, no need for me to get involved, I have enough on my plate. She has support down there for things like this.
There are a lot of cities in the US like that too. This is one of the few benefits living in a small town.

Now how in the world did you ever get back to sleep with those flighty critters swooping about, Jeff? Did you get them out? I know I can always count on a good read at your blog that will put a smile on my face! Property taxes are certainly no fun to deal with. I just sent out my blood let, too. It wasn't easy, Susan! I also seem to have lost five hours in the day today too, so I guess I am making up for the apparent lack of sleep last night too! I feel your pain on the blood letting too.
As for my mother's issues, that is her nephew doing that to her new debit card on a gambling site in California! What is the world comming to, these days! Folks these days are absolutely crazy!
Apparently, I had an excellent evening, since I missed two calls from Monica while she was still at work. I guess I slept too long!

I think they will, Susan! The bat and bird likely did not escapte, though I have not seen them! Think of it as those fly traps--they can get in, but the can't get out! Mwa Ha Ha!
My cousin who stays there with her is a felon and a gambling addict! I just talked to her again a while ago!

Raiding debit cards ... that's a big no-no, its a lockable-up offence here in the UK and I guess in the US too. You need to get him to stop.
Monica - that's good if she has three days off, you may get some days out together.
Take a drive somewhere different and have yourselves a relaxed lunch and just talk nonsense things to each other. Life gets shorter by the day, enjoy what you have.
Don't worry about going slow with your work, I've almost ground to a halt. Time for a rest and good book to read.
How did the 4 wheeler get on with the repairs, all done I hope.

Nope, I have not seen thiem since last night, Bux! I will likely find their dried up husks at some point.
My Mom will have to figure that one out!
We might, Bux, but she usually has three days off after her four 10 hour shifts!

Easy, I never saw them again, Marioi! Either they got out or they are dead somewhere. No worries, I've had pests in there before. This was not the first time, nor will it be the last. It doesn't happen very often though, and this was the first time that there had been two at the same time.
Sadly, family can be the worst when it comes to fraud. They seem to think that they have a free pass.
I have felt like sleeping a lot lately.
