Monumental Monday Makes Momentous Moments!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
After an early night for a change, I slept fairly well and got up ready to face the new day--Monday--the first day of a new work week!
I got out of bed when the alarm sounded, and got right down to business with some vigor in my step!
Once a few tasks were accomplished, it was time for the traditional dive into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community!
That sets the tone for the new day, as well as the new work week!
It wasn't long after I finished that initial foray when Monica called! I had noticed that I had a missed call from her last night, but it was a very late call.
We chatted for over an hour, so that was a nice surprise to start the new week off as well!
Eventually, even though the day was Sunny, it was still quite chilly too, but I ventured outside and captured some images of the new Monday!
We might have been between 30 and 40 degrees, but I took the images and went back inside.
I think that, if we are lucky, then we might make 40 degrees today, but that remains to be seen!
Then I got a call from my website collaborator, and we talked for over an hour too!
There was a lot to be discussed, and that turned out to be quite productive.
Since there has been no new work today, I also went back outside and captured some more images of the day!
I did not stay out there too long because the weather is still quite chilly! I cannot wait for warmer weather, but the problem is that is will soon be too hot. Funny how that works, isn't it?
Oh well, I have lived here in Kansas for 38 years, so I am used to it for the most part. Nevertheless, we can always hope for a different outcome.
I feel like I will soon be talking to my mother again, who now lives in Alaska. I am looking forward to that.
Soon, I will run a quick errand. Fortunately, I am close to one of the main business districts in this little town that I live in.
The drive over there was pleasant even though it was still a little cooler for today.
The temperature managed to make it up to 45 degrees. not the best, but not the worst either! We have to take what we can get!
I completed the errand successfully, and then I was headed back home in a flash. With no new work today, I had other things that I wished t0o accomplish! The day had turned out to be quite nice though.
I still must admit that it has been a nice day though. Soon, I will try to reach out to my mom today for at least a few minutes.
WOW! Weirdly, Kitty ambled out and made a brief appearance too! I thought she might do that, and she did not let me down! Of course, she did not stay long, but I was surprised!
This post will be completed soon, and when I post it, I still plan to be on the computer for a while off and on in the evening!
Since it is still daylight, I will be taking care of a few more outdoor tasks too! Every single day is a never ending battle, and all of us must do this from time to time!
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HERE HAS HAD A MONUMENTAL MONDAY! I FEEL LIKE I COMPLETED A LOT MORE TASKS TO GET THE NEW WEEK STARTED OFF PROPERLY! THAT WAS GREAT, AS FAR AS I AM CONCERNED!

Interesting day Jeff
I just came on WA for the first time today. I had to go to the dentist for a new crown put on my one tooth. I will have to go back for the permanent crown. as much as I dislike the dentist I seem to be there too much.

Monday sounds good, Jeff.
Mine was too. I made meatloaf and mashed potatoes Sunday night, and my uncle called on Monday and said he had made stew and that if I would come around about 5 pm he would give us some. Both were good.
Unless something goes wrong I will be going to see my buddy/little brother Bart in Azle on Thursday and spending the day there. I plan to be back home around 7-8 pm.

Gotta brag -- Our weather has been at or approaching 50 for the last few days. It will stay that way for quite some time now.
My day has been busy as well -- household chores, laundry and even baked cookies...one of my favorite recipes...mild ginger cookies. I love them, but the sugar will probably keep me awake tonight. We'll see. Thawed a nice piece of salmon for supper. Should be a good one.

I loved it when my late wife made salmon patties. They were absolutely delicious. I'm glad your new week has started off very well.

Was thinking of making salmon patties with this piece, but it was just right for a little marinade and a bake. It was excellent.

Savouries are my cooking thing.
I have never been a baker, despite several (expensive) attempts.
I could rattle you a good lamb pasta or a smashing chicken fried rice but cakes and cookies, no.
