Monday's Monumental Moil, Momentum, & Meanderings
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I woke up a little later this morning, with no urgency. After tending to the furry assistants, I settled down at the computer and did the morning sojourn in to the Wealthy Affiliate Community.
Kitty was present to help me in this effort to start the new week.
While this has been going on, I also finished publishing another post in my book promotion website. This is part of my traditional Wealthy Affiliate research that I perform daily. (I do need to carve out some time to watch some more Premium Plus classes too!)
I have also started another blog post on my book promotion site today as well. Additionally, I listed another item in my eBay store and revised the prices on several other ones too.
When I took a break from the computer work, it was time to feed the Blog Dogs.
They had already had a snack in the morning, so they were hungry by this time.
Shortly thereafter, Sylvester, who had not made it with the wood yesterday, arrived and I helped him unlaod some wood.
It wasn't long until I got a call for a job to get a lock of a shed in back of a rental from one of my Property Management clients.
The drive over there was nice. The weather has been overcast and cool all day, and we are expecting rain in the evening.
The shed was in the back of this house.
When I got the lock off, I needed to go to the shop house to get another hasp.
As Sylvester has said earlier, the front yard was cut already. He told me this morning that he did it yesterday. Whew, just in time! The finished product is above, and then I went and dropped of a bill for $65. Not a bad start to the new week's work load.
When I arrived back at the eBay house, Sylvester was also pulling in with a lawnmower, and cut, not only my house, but decided to do the next door neighbor's yard too,
He also left me a self-propelled mower for me to use when he was running behind. That was very nice of him.
When he left, I was back on the computer, and it wasn't long before the phone rang. It was Monica. I had not heard from her this morning, but then I forgot that she told me she would be working at 8:00 am this morning instead of 10. That call definitely lifted my spirits some.
It was a nice chat, and if the weather holds, I will be over there at the house helping her look to see what pest is under her house, along with what is causing such a stink under there. We had discussed this the other day. If not tonight, then probably tomorrow, although it might be raining then too!
It needs to be done one way or another. Around 4 pm, my Mom called and I listed to her regale me about her work day. She didn't stay on long, because she had an appointment she needed to go to.
I ended up taking a short nap after all the rushing around this morning. Now refreshed, barring another job or going to the house to help Monica, I will be working on the computer with the website, along with adding some more material to the new manuscript that I am working on.
Today has been an excellent start to the new work week!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HERE IN WEALTHY AFFILIATE HAS HAD AN EXCELLENT START TO ANOTHER NEW WEEK! MINE SEEMS TO HAVE BEEN BUSIER THAN USUAL, AS IT GAINED MOMENTUM THROUGHOUT THE DAY!

That's a fine mower! It looks like it could make the job fun!
Most folks have let their grass die here, or replace it with rock gardens, or fake grass... There's just no water to keep it alive!
At least the parks are still green, for now.
Did you find the critters under Monica's house? (actually your house) if it were here it would be rats or raccoons.
Nice job on the shed. You could expand to handyman services if you wanted... Might be too much hassle though...
Keep up the good work on your website! As you said before, they're never really done, but at least you're getting close to functional.

It was, indeed, Al--especially after I posted! I went to the house, helped Monica out and had some very nice "alone" time!
It sure would! He left me a self-propelled push mower to use for the summer when he can't get right over there! I'd love to concrete my whole yard, Al! 🙄
No, even the German Shephard assisted, and we found nothing! I'm sure there might be a mouse or two that may scratch. I sliced the sagging insulation under the girls' bathroom, and while it smelled a bit musty, they exaggerated the dead animal smell! I've smelled enough dead animals, and this wasn't even close. Her and I closed up all gaps in the skirting, and that was that!
I'm thinking on another solution to the "smell".
A Handyman should have been called on that, but I made the money, so I am not complaining.
I think it might be functional, but the moment it goes over to the true domain, we shall see what catastrophes I might have to address.
I totally agree with you. Come what may, we will thrive!

A pest under the house reminds me of a dead possum we had in Australia.
I spent ages looking for it and never found it, eventually the smell died down.
I found it at Christmas time, a dried out mummy of a possum in all the Christmas decorations. That year we upgraded our decorations.lol.

Sounds like a busy and satisfying day, Jeff. There's something about freshly cut grass...awesome that Sylvester left you the mower and helped you and the neighbor out! As always, it's great having a bird's eye view into your day. Have a nice evening :-)

Another Monday hits the dust! If it weren't for you, I'd forget what day it was. Wanted to go to the P.O. yesterday until I remembered it was Sunday.
Big news of the day: The vet came to clip Mocha's claws. She got 1 1/2 feet clipped and had to go back for kitty restraints. He did not want his paws messed with!
She came back with a head cone so he couldn't bite us and a little bunting to put him in so she could do one foot at a time. When we got to the front feet, the vet discovered the problem. One of his extra toenails had gone into the pad and was infected. She was able to get the whole thing out, luckily, and put some antibiotic on it.
When she got to the last paw, it was much easier. I think perhaps a lot of his struggle because of the "bad" paw. The infection must have hurt! He let her do the last one with little complaint, and now he's much happier that it's done. So am I!
Published 6 more products; selected the next 6 for my next videos; found images for Wednesday's post. Now I have to get started on Sunday's -- have gotten behind again. At least the research is already done.

It was, and I was quite happy to catch that nap and extra sleep.
The mower is a self-propelled push behind, but quick start and pretty nice. He had the rider over there to mow part of mine and decided to do the neighbor's yard too, which is a good thing because it has been raining off and on all day here.
Hump day eve has been a lazy one, other than an early morning unlock. I can already guess how yours has been.😳🙄

I'll likely be working most of the summer on both money work and non-money work (i.e. repairs). I'll get my fun in on holidays, perhaps, but I'll also be writing which is very enjoyable to me.
That's good to hear, but don't let "it" fool you. The other night my "it" behaved reasonably well too, so we shall see, but I know what she is up to, and her mother still blindly goes forward with ALL of her requests.
