Monday Morning Meant More Momentum & Moments!

First of all, the expected Chinese dinner date did NOT occur. I reached out many times to Monica via text, and got no response. After that, I worked on the computer until I finally got tired and went to bed.
Earlier in the morning when I was both on the phone and the computer, Monica texted me that she had more work at her sister's house than she had anticipated. I texted back--"No Worries". I am sure we will go out to eat again at some point.
This was during my morning ritual commute into the vibrant Wealthy Affiliate Community.
Kitty even decided to show up and assist too! I was a bit surprised by that.
With my day started off in the proper fashion, the rest of the day should be pretty good too! I then decided to head outside to see how the new Monday was shaping up.
Surprisingly we were already at 58 degrees at the time. WOW! The temps will likely keep increasing, at least for today, and perhaps, even tomorrow. After that, it is anybody's guess.
I will perform some more outdoor tasks, barring any additional locksmith work. The day was still young, so we shall see what transpires.
Then I reached out to a few friends--or associates--like I like to call them. Everything was still not kosher with my one warehouse property on 8th street, but there isn't much that I can do right now about it either.
I may venture over there after this post drops, and check some things out for myself, since Tommy should still be next door for a while.
By 12:42 pm, we had reached 70 degrees, so this will be another stellar temperature day. I didn't bother with any images though.
I went back inside and worked on the blog post some more. That was quite productive too.
Then there was finally the start to my tax return for 2023. It was not very stellar, but at least I now have the initial figures completed now.
At this rate, the post might drop sooner rather than later. I plan to head out later to the warehouse complex and visit with Tommy. It will either appear after that or before, but I am not totally sure when, it just depends on the mood that I am in.
The temps increased to 81 degrees when I checked them last.
That was about the time that Tommy Williams came by to have a beer with me, and bought me a bag of Lays potato chips to boot. What a pleasant surprise.
We visited for about 2 hours, so that was fantastic.
Scratch what I wrote earlier in the post since the evening is rapidly approaching. The guzzle table had finally been well used, and the daylight would soon be fading.
We had many topics to discuss, and if the weather holds for tomorrow, I plan to head over to the warehouse to see how things are.
This was really not a bad ending to the evening, and I still have a few things to do this evening, as well.
I'm back on the computer now putting the finishing touches on this post, and I will remain there for a while when it is published! I might be on the computer for longer than that, since there are other news programs that I pay attention to, as well!
For me, the day has ended up pretty good, all things considered.
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HAS HAD A MOMENTUM-FILLED MONDAY! I FEEL LIKE I HAVE, AND AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE NEW WEEK, COME WHAT MAY!

Talking about that was going to stop for a while and the missus brought home 30 beers from her brother who bought them for me. The fridge is looking healthy.

We had a beer, and chatted, then went and inspected a couple of vehicles that will be going to the warehouse complex, and then eventually will be getting scrapped.
Glad you got some more beverages.

Your temps are what I consider our summer's ideal temps! Not bad, too, though -- 41 degrees.
Have been going through stored boxes from the back of the closet. Took me all morning to do one box. Found some interesting things, though, like an invitation to my grandparents' wedding. Probably the only one still in existence. Ya never know what you'll find lurking in some dark corner.
Need to get started on my post today. That will be this afternoon's project.
Wow, Fran. Don't I know that. I still have a lot of work to do this year sorting things out.

By the way, just wrote up the part of the memoir about visiting Junction City by train in about 1946. Wish I could remember more of the details...I think my brain is just getting so overcrowded with memories that it sends many to the archives. and I've lost the link!
Sounds awesome, though, Fran. Part of the museum here in JC has the front counter from there in the museum.
