Memorial Monday Meant Memorium Mourning
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
I had a very late night last night, since Monica got a hold of me, and told me that her ex-husband would be dying soon given all of his medical complications!
We talked on and off for an hour or two, but his parents would allow life support to be cut off since he was already paralyzed, but the blood clot in the brain was a lot larger too.
I slept fitfully after that, but then finally fell asleep.
Waking up at 6 am this morning, I took care of a few tasks, and then jumped back on the computer. Before I got very far in that endeavor, Monica texted me that, in her words, "Jason is Dying today". Wow, I felt like I was punched in the gut.
I still want to thank everyone for their prayers over the past couple of days.
Then I began the news feeds and the normal morning Wealthy Affiliate Community foray, as well.
No matter what the day brings, these are the best ways to start each new day on the right track, in my opinion!
Again, to my surprise, Kitty made another brief appearance too!
I was glad to see her.
When I got finished with the WAC for the morning, I ventured outside and took a couple of images of the new day.
It was quite windy, and in the 50s at the time.
Not too long after that, I decided that another power tap in order. I managed to sleep very well during that for the most part, despite junk calls which come in every single day at that time.
When I decided to wake up and get back to business, it wasn't long before I venture outside to check the mail, and also to capture some images of the late afternoon.
Despite some higher temps, we also had higher winds, as well. I will just have to wait and see what transpires on this essentially somber day.
I had one job call, but I declined that one for a variety of reasons which I will not go into here except that it was a state job, and I haven't done those in a few years. They are way too tedious, not to mention, I no longer have the proper inventory to solve the problem. (ever since the C-19 scare).
Now after 2 pm, the day for me is almost over, thankfully! I will continue working on what I work on, and will be very glad when it is time to retire to bed again. The month of April has been very exhausting mentally for a variety of reasons, and I will be very glad to see it finally go!
Since I would soon be leaving for another quick errand, before I did, I captured a few more images at around 4 pm.
The winds were insane right then. Another hallmark of Kansas weather. It just adds a bit to my somber mood, but that is how things sometimes go. It is quite simply a fact of life!
This post will drop in due time. I will remain on the computer for a while to render responses, etc.
I must admit that it has been a tiring day with everything that has been on my mind!
Surprisingly, my Mother called too. She does not seem to be happy about how things are going in the world either. I simply told her that we must keep moving forward no matter what!
I HOPE EVERYONE HAD A BETTER MONDAY THAN I DID! THE NEW WEEK IS DEFINITELY UNDER WAY AND WE ALL HAVE TO MAKE THE BEST OF IT, COME WHAT MAY GOOD OR BAD!

Sorry to hear about Monica's ex. It is never an easy decision to make. I remember when we had to make the decision about my mom. Watching her pass away before my very eyes was almost too much to bare. My prayers continue for Monica and the kids and for you, too, Jeff.

Everyone in that extended family were there when he passed. It was very touching and relieving to hear all at the same time!

Another power nap. Jeff, if you're not careful, all these naps will start to join up.
I can understand you turning some jobs down too, the hassle factor is just too huge. More admin and less hands on tools, but they don't want to pay for the paperwork time.

At the end of the day, I found out that the entire extended family was by his side when he passed.
All the kids were there too. I was very glad to hear all of that, and it made me cry to know they were all there. Tears of joy, of course!

Thank you, Susan! It was tragic, but that is how it goes sometimes! Thank you very much for the prayers. I will get better sleep now that Monica called, and sent images, and that everyone was there at the hospital when he passed.

The winds are just awful here too. They were 70 km (45 mph). Hopefully it'll warm up soon & the wind will take off.

I'm sorry to hear about Monica's ex-husband, it's nice that you were able to offer some support, Jeff.
It's interesting that you say about the windy weather, the last year or so we have had so much wind, it's unbelievable! I always said that they couldn't change the weather, but I keep hearing things that they are messing with clouds etc! All I know is that there is a terrific amount of evil going on in the world, but we know the end of the story, thankfully!
I can see in one of your photographs that you have a tree stump, I would gladly come over and remove it for you. It's just a case of getting the machine over to your place, Jeff, that maybe easier said than done!

I hear you, Jeff! It's such a shame, as America is such a fantastic country with wonderful people! Although the Bible talks about such things, it's quite hard to watch what's happening to America and the UK. It's the Christian principles that made these countries so great! I always been a great fan of the American people, so that makes it even harder to watch.

I am glad we know the end of the story, but it is hard to watch. I was talking to a pastor the other day, we were actually talking about Israel. He is quite good in his knowledge of Israel. He said that he just focuses on what the Bible says and nothing else.
