Frightfully Frigid 2nd Frisatsu 2024 Freezes!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
The official first day of a terminal run on single degree temps with much lower wind chills arrived after midnight last night.
This will likely be a placeholder post for this Frisatsu(MO) if the power goes out.
That will knock out a lot of my communication, etc.
I will survive no matter what though!
I managed to get the truck started again mid day, and while I sat outside and let it run for an hour, took three new images of Friday.
I TRUST THAT EVERYONE HAS A BETTER WEATHER FRISATSU THAN I WILL. ONE WAY OR ANOTHER, I WILL MAKE IT THROUGH!
Sincerely,
Jeff, the BLOG DOGS, and Kitty

Hello Jeffoi,
Pride goes before the fall ... my weather was good. I told everyone that if we didn't have snow this winter, that would be great. I fully expected that it might not snow at all this year. How naive was I?
Then came yesterday.
We are freezing and a 9F temp "feels like" -8!
I was so afraid that the power would go out last night - and the wind was very high. Not fun at all.
Again, be careful what you wish for. I was put in my "reality" place!
Glad you are taking care of things because this too shall pass.
Have a good day Jeff,
Corinne :-)))
I know exactly what you mean, Corinne! That was why I took a badly needed vacation with my Army Buddy!
Hi Jeff,
Hope your power stays on. The snow always looks beautiful over the landscape when it is new. It is so quiet, too when it first falls. But later it turns into dirty mush when it starts to melt. :) I grew up in the midwest where we had snow so much, we just did everything while it snowed unless it was a blizzard. Our power never went out. But where we are now, it rarely snows in winter, just mostly rain and cold temperatures. When it does snow, everything shuts down. The schools close and sometimes the power may go out. Years ago, when we first moved here, when it snowed, they used to let the snow in the streets melt on its own which took days or they just threw sand on the roads hoping for the best. haha. But nowadays, they have gotten better and clean the major streets of snow. Stay warm!
I know exactly what you mean, Delois!
It has been treacherous here! I'll be out of the loop for a couple of days since a friend is picking me up to stay at his house for a few days!
Kitty is being set up with some support, as well!
Soon will be staying warm!
Jeff
I thought for a minute that picture was an inside shot of my fridge. I do have stalagmites hanging from the ceiling....however, it does keep the essentials cool. Lol.
I trust 2024 is taking shape for a great year. I am really busy and will not be "socialising" at WA quite so much.. Talk soon.
Stevoi.
Have 2 weeks off soon with Vietnam Tแบฟt holidays. So it is my fitness and work (WA) time. Iโm committed to getting fit this year. Have built a website around it, so letโs see what happens.
Thanks
Stevoi
We, too, are having a frightfully frigid Friday! I have not bothered to start my car, though. It's still partially buried in snow, and will stay that way for a few more days. Tomorrow I have a Saturday Market, but a friend will pick me up. Meanwhile, my wood stove provides survival warmth.
Now, some rain would be nice, as it might uncover my car and clear the path to the shed, so can get more wood. I'm okay for now, but will need to gather more soon. At least I know it's out there -- just have to get it!
Stay warm...a good day to stay mostly inside!
I hope that the weather gets better soon for all of us, Fran.
Hang in there, my friend.
I have stayed inside for the most part, aside from making sure my truck started.
That looks cold...are you getting ice there too, Jeff. Hope your power doesn't go out. I'm waiting for a storm to blow in tonight too. Try to stay warm as best you can. We're all keeping you in our thoughts.

It is cold, Susan! It will be well below zero by dark! I appreciate the kind thoughts, but I should be in bed in the next couple of hours!
Jeff๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐ฅถ๐ฅ
Sounds like a good plan, Jeff! Take good care of yourself and Kitty.

Hoping it passes quickly, Jeff! We'll get through it, my friend. It'll be all right.

oH my! That really is cold. Here was I complaining on Thursday that it was 56 degrees here in Florida. However, Friday brought us 76 although it is below 70 today. I don't think I could cope with all that snow. That's why we chose FL when we came from Australia. Keep warm Jeff. Cheers, Jenni.
I don't blame you. Jenni! Thank God for friends!
