2022-Remembrances, Reflections, & Recreation!
Hello everyone here in Wealthy Affiliate!
As I reawaken to the new year of 2023, I must admit that it has been a very laid back day! That's just how I like it!
I worked early on in the Wealthy Affiliate Community on this first day of 2023 like I always do any other day! It is a perpetual habit that I have developed over the years, and each new day does not feel the same if I am delayed or fail to do so otherwise!
Kitty had the right idea by just staying in bed this first morning of the new year! I don't blame her, I should have done the exact same thing.
I also made sure that the Blog Dogs were well-fed too!
They were, and they gobbled up every bit of food that I put down for them!
With that task accomplished, I resumed working on the computer, taking a quick stab at working on some more Kindle Vella Episode #10 writings.
This is a mere portion of my Wealthy Affiliate research portion of the day for the first day of 2023.
I did manage to capture some images of this first day of the year too!
We did make it into the 50s today, which was quite nice.
I must admit that I was a bit lethargic on this first day of the new year too! My sleep patterns seem to be a bit off! That will soon correct itself too though.
After working more on the computer trying to stay caught up, it was finally time to take a drive over to the locksmith shop house to attempt to drain the water heater.
While warming up the truck, I fried off a lot of New Year's greetings to friends and family, and I was rewarded first with a call from my mother.
We talked for about 30 minutes, but then she had to go. I did talk to her off and on throughout the day though, so that was nice.
When I did leave to go over to the shop house, the drive was pleasant enough.
The sun was out, and things were warming up at the time.
People were out and about when I reached the first intersection on my way over there!
It was great to witness all the hustle and bustle.
When I arrived at the shop house, I had the full intention of getting the water heater drained, but that didn't quite work out the way that it was supposed to.
I'm sure that I will chat with my buddy Kevin this evening to figure out what my next step in that department will be.
While I was there, Monica finally called me and we chatted for over an hour! Apparently she has been resting all day, and to me that is a very good thing.
I was over there for just over and hour and a half taking care of other tasks too.
Then, I decided that it was time to head back to the eBay house!
Once there, I started this first blog post of the new year. I have been reflecting upon things today, remembering the things that occurred in 2022, and my recreation has involved some physical activity outside on this very nice day--specifically loading more firewood on the porch at the eBay house!
Winter still has a lot more in store for all of us, unfortunately!
I HOPE THAT EVERYONE HAD AN EXCELLENT FIRST DAY OF 2023, ALTHOUGH, I DO KNOW THAT MANY OTHERS ARE ALREADY OVER A DAY INTO THE NEW YEAR! LET'S ALL HAVE AN EXCELLENT START TO THE NEW YEAR OF 2023!

My sleep patterns are always off on New Year's Day, Jeff - only because of the folks shooting off fireworks till 2 AM in the morning.

Morning Jeff. So day two of the New Year. Only 363 shopping left until Christmas lolz. I feel much better this morning and keeping my fingers crossed that covid is passing. If I carry feeling better like this then I'll test myself again in the morning and hope it's negative.

I can't believe your temperature went up to as high as 50??
We only got up to 40"s. All the snow melted, and I see green grass again! That's strange on January!!

But that’s good especially for you. I don’t know about our fruit trees that rely on the winter weather to be able to bring a much delightful produce by the summer time!

I hope that after the horrendous stomr of the generation that we all somehow endured, that maybe--just maybe--the rest of the Winter will be milder and then leave earlier altogether, Maria! Wishful thinking, perhaps, but it certainly would be nice!

My buddy Kevin's Locksmith van was broken into and the thieves took a lot--nothing that would mean nything to them though! Wow! I have NO problems right now!

Here in PA, there’s a law called “Castle Law”, a homeowner has the right to gun down trespassers. for defense. So I can shoot anyone that trespasses in my property, and I won’t even get arrested!
