One step forward.
I seem to be going back and forth just now, i seem to be making a stride forward, then something knocks me and I'm back again. I had to edit my site as i has too many pages and got it to a simpler version, but wasn't happy with the look of the site. i changed the theme of my site and the new one, though not exactly what i want is a lot closer to where i want to be.
My struggle with keywords has been eased slightly with help from here watching training videos. I think i now have a better idea how they work, and how i can make them work for me.
Its before 9am on a Saturday morning and I'm up tidying up my site. i decided to clean up a previous post to see where that specific post ranked in google once id went through jaxxy and tidied up the keywords. results proved it wasn't ranking in the top 4 pages. As it was a review i added that word into google and there i came up on page one, in fact two other of my pages also appeared. Good news. The only problem was the message was mixed. I clearly have structural issues with my site as the message isn't getting through to google as i would wish. So its back to the drawing board again. One day I'm going to crack this thing!!!!

Paul, it wasn't a blog it was a post as a review, I've copied it below. I don't think the issue is with the post self but with how my site is structured.
Maison Margiela’s take on the varsity jacket has been crafted from a technical nylon with a press stud closure to the front, welt pockets to either side and ribbed collar, cuffs and hem.
Features include
· 100% Nylon Shell
· Press Stud Closure
· Welt Pockets to either side
· Ribbed Collar, Cuffs & Hem
· Made in Italy
I’m not that familiar with Maison Margiela, I’ve heard of the label, and certainly I’ve heard of John Galliano, the labels creative director, but when I was squinting on End’s site today and came across this jacket I had to take a closer look. The label was started by Martin Maison Margiela back in 1988. The Varsity Jacket comes in black but I much prefer the Military Green. It is offset beautifully by the orange collar cuffs and hem. The design is very simple, the cuffs and hem seem larger than usual by a good inch or so, but that’s not a bad thing. I can just imagine Jonas Nay wearing something like this in Deutschland 83, it has that classic feel to it.
This jacket retails at £729 from End, definitely at the higher end of the scale, but I don’t think you would be disappointed in it. Why would you want to wear a Maison Mergiela replica when you could get the real thing.
Just stick at it ... if you like post your URL here for us all to have a look at.. maybe we can help you out
thanks Chris, my site is called coatsandjackets.org. Its not complete yet, but I've started filling out content and am 70% there. i have done some reviews and checked one today. i googled review - Maison Margiela 14 Varsity Jacket as that one one of my posts, and 5 of my pages came up but not the one for that review, and the ones that did didn't look right on the google page.
