Progress Report for My First Month at WA
Hello to all of the wonderful people here at WA. I have met many of you over the course of my first month here, and for that I am very grateful. I look forward to meeting many more in the near future.
It has been a busy month for me. Fortunately my e-commerce business is mostly on autopilot these days, so I have dedicated most of my time to WA.
I had a bit of prior knowledge in SEO and affiliate marketing, so this hasn't been entirely new to me. I have been able to progress fairly quickly because of this and because of what I mentioned above.
I'm currently 80% of the way through level 4 of the OEC course, and hopefully I will complete level 4 by the end of this week.
Because I have been fairly selective in choosing keywords lately, I have had some success ranking on page 1 of Yahoo and Bing much earlier than anticipated.
The niche I selected initially is a decent one. It's an evergreen niche (content tends to stay relevant), and hopefully it will turn out to be ever golden too :)
I have many more niches in mind, and they all have better potential in my opinion. I didn't want to dive into any of those at first, because what are the odds that my first niche will turn out to be my best one?
