This is the main thought and complaint that I've read. A lot of of you students fell the same way.

I'm not sure why some reviews say that WA is outdated. Maybe they are trying to promote their program.

Affiliate marketing is still alive and well. The training in WA is very relevant to teach you what you need to learn and implement to become successful and reach your goals. In fact it is the best training available because you get webinars and expert created classes plus abundance of support. We have been here over 10 years and it works for us and still works for us.

All online businesses need a website (a place to call home). Once you have your website in place you can find a lot of helpful training and tips as well for any social platform of interest. Use the menu bar above to search for your social media interest.

You will not find a program that is consistent and so value packed as WA. We have many members here who are making 6 figure incomes and some of them are relying strictly on affiliate marketing.

WA has the training, tools, dedicated hosting and support, plus so many ways to get help 24 x 7. We have seen so many testimonies of people who appreciate it. You may find some reviews on trustpilot.com helpful.

Whatever you decide be committed and do not fall for the shining objects that look better because you will not achieve that way.. Stay focused on the decision you make. You can be successful if you focus, follow the training and put in the effort.

Hello Roy,

I hope you're doing well, thank you for your question.

I have been at Wealthy Affiliate for almost 7 years, I've been working online (part-time) since 2004 and making money since around 2007. I find it amazing that people say that the training content is out of date, I have seen similar reviews myself.

However, we have to be in the real world and understand that the Internet changes very quickly. It is impossible to keep everything up to date, but I do know that regularly updated videos are being updated to Wealthy Affiliate on a regular basis.

We know that various platforms change their interface regularly which can literally outdate a training video overnight. I believe that Kyle and Carson do a great job of trying to keep things up-to-date. Of course, we also have the regular webinars from Jay and if you become a premium member there is even more.

We have to remember that there are many people who have never taken any action online. But are willing to give bad reviews, just because they didn't want to work or take any action!

I know for a fact, that the training really does work, I learnt the hard way when I started out back in 2004. If I had known about Wealthy Affiliate back then, it would literally save me thousands of pounds!

It looks like you have been a member for some time, Roy, are you taking action and going through the training step by step?

Wishing you all the best.

Roy

When I joined WA I named my blog's type type 2 and you, with my address as type2andyou.siterubix.com. I wanted to change it to type2andyou.com but found out that it was already

That happened to me too. The .com is bought and it can be taken even if you have the same name on .siterubix. You could perhaps adapt the name a little so that it still is the same name you want to use. Instead of writetopia make it write-topia for example. That's what I did, although dashes are not always recommended, but I got to keep my name.

Hi James,
This video explains it : All the best,
Luc

Concerning your domain name , siterubix was in this case your extension ,but other extensions like in your case the com one is taken. So you will have to either choose another extension or domain name for your site.

Site Rubix domains are simply sub-domains of Wealthy Affiliates and give you no rights whatsoever to the dot com name. Maybe dot net or dot org?

Hi - just because a name is available as a Siterubix does not mean it is available as a .com. In fact, the .com version of your site was registered in 2014, so you can't "get it back" because it's not yours.

If you are now ready to buy a .com domain, you will have to think of another name. It doesn't matter that your Siterubix name is different, you can still transfer the content over.

Thank you Diane

Troble seeing spell checks suggestions when spell checker is on top and can't see it. Thanks.

Hey Roy,

Whose spell check are you referring to?:
Is it perhaps your OS (operating system) that is causing this?
Have you tried using a different device?

Providing screen prints with full details in any question makes it much easier to answer with helpful information.

Hope this information helps you.

Okay Triblu. I will do that when I get home from work. The spell check on Site Content is the one I’m referring to. When I click on it, it pops up in the middle of my content. I can fix the corrections it suggests, except the ones that are hiding behind the spell check box and wondered how to move it. Can’t make it move. Thanks.

Hey Roy,

Using my desktop Windows 10 computer and Firefox browser, I just checked and the spell check is designed that you make your corrections from within the popup window where once you make your decision, it moves automatically to the next word it feels is possibly spelled incorrectly.

You have no need of moving the popup window manually to make the corrections. See screen print below...

So, once again, all I can guess is that perhaps it is your device and/or OS that is giving you grief.

Triblu, I think I found my problem. I stated my blog posts on my PC but last night I was doing it on my Mac. Guess it through some things off. Went back to my PC and it seems to be working fine. Thanks for the tip. Now I'm having fits with the image tool in site content. Trying to crop the images to were they are the same width and height. Experimenting for a couple of hours now. Any advice?

Not having used SiteContent for myself only to retrieve an image or two... I can only suggest that if resizing the images inside SiteContent does not work at all then you could download the images you want to use and resize them before uploading them for use in your articles.

You could use Microsoft's Paint to resize all of your images.

However, have you reviewed Kyle's training on using SiteContent? If not, he may offer you a great idea on resizing images in SiteContent:

Thank you.

Hi Roy,
If your site is very new, it can take a few days to get indexed. Did you go to your Google Search console to ask them to index it? That could make things happen a little faster.

Already confused. Do I go to domain or URL prefix. What do I do after that? Brand new to this.

Hi again,
Jay did a great webinar on using google search console. Take a look and hopefully will answer all your questions. Cheers
