Escape your comfort zone at 4AM
It's 4 AM and it's time to wake up! It has been the 25th days in a row that I woke up at 4 AM, a thing my past self would never ever believe. When I told my friends, some of them did not believe me and some would just ask "Why?". The answer was so simple "I want to change! I want to escape the comfort zone that has imprisoned me for many, many years!".
Believe me, you will be amazed at how much you can change and achieve just by waking up early. So without further ado, belows are what I have achieved by waking up at 4 AM for the past 25 days:
- I finished reading two amazing books: Rich Dad, Poor Dad and Millionaire Success Habits.
- I had time to watch inspirational videos on youtube every morning.
- I assessed my current finance.
- I started planning how to create more passive income.
- I joined WA and finished two modules.
- I created two websites and started planning the structure for my posts.
- I started learning to become an online seller.
- I hit the gym 6 times a week.
- Most of all, I have started to work on goals: what I want to achieve, who I want to become in the next 1, 3, 5 or 10 years... to come.
And why 4 AM? Couldn't I pick any other time of the day?
- It's the distraction-free time.
- I did not need to sacrifice my valuable family time in the night.
- I had to go to sleep early which is very good for my health :)

What is the most effective way to not snooze your alarm and just wake up?
A month ago, I watched a video of Tom Bilyeu - Impact Theory on youtube, the guest in the interview talked about how she could wake up early in the morning and how much it impacted her life. (Sadly I can not remember her name or the link, I will update the post once I find out the link).
Her method is very simple: once the alarm goes off, you start couting down from 5 to 0, and as soon as you count to 0, immediatelly get off the bed. It's super effective! She explained that if you keep staying on the bed, eventually your subconsious mind will do its job to protect your mind and body by convincing you to go back to sleep (human survival instinct).
Firstly, counting down from 5 to 0 will prepare your brain to be wake up fully (same effect as marathon countdown) and secondly, that 5 seconds countdown is very short and if you wake up within that timeframe, your subconsious will not have the chance to take over your mind.
"Time is one fo the biggest issues you'll see. People just do not know how to maximize their time. The way in which you execute and utilize time is everything. And most people push up against the threshold of their control." - Tony Robbins

I saw on one of the Youtube videos two months ago about a guy explaining that people that have succeeded in life with wealth used to have a 4 hour sleep at night and a (x2) 25 mins sleep during the day. These people would completed tasks in the early hours of the morning and have been the most successful people that ever lived.
I decided to try it out and what a surprise! I was energized, alert throughout the day and never felt tired. I deed it for a week and then I went back to my old ways again.
Thank you for your post. It reminded me to start doing it again.

Well done Jack, you are up earlier than me! I normally rise at 5 AM, although it's 4:45 AM this morning! I hear you 100%, I really enjoy being up early and I can achieve a lot in this time. I look at it this way, many people start around 9 AM, so this time I can potentially ever achieved four hours work or half a day's work in most people's cases!
One of the reasons I start early is because I have an off-line business, so normally I have two or three hours working online and then I go off to my off-line business, it seems to work.
I'm really pleased that you're achieving great goals, well done Jack.
Enjoy your day.
Roy
I find that the wee early morning hours are the most productive, as well. You are a true inspiration and I wish you a wonderful continued journey to success!
Erin :)!
Jack,
Congratulations on all of these accomplishments
People need to set goals but finding time to do
what needs to be done is not always easy looks
like you have found a perfect solution way to go :)
I tried the same thing, but waking at 5:30 (not 4... I'm impressed!) I used that time for freelancing in another timezone, to earn my daily bread before 9:30 am local time. The rest of my day is dedicated to personal projects.
It is awesome! The early bird really does get the worm!
Wow! Very inspiring.
Great job!
Im sure you will reach a long way in thin online business.
Keep it up.
Wishing you great success.
God bless,
Che

Hey Jack,
Not so sure it's the hour but more the fact that at 4 am at your household it is distraction free. However it is great to hear that you are getting a better handle on your time management and have been able to get more a accomplished now that you shifted your hours around some.
Congratulations, look forward to hearing your success stories real soon.
