I Haven't Forgotten You
I don't know if this is going to reach the right people, but there are members here who are waiting on comments, return follows, and google+ activity from me. The last couple of days have been a whirlwind of personal things I'm having to handle and it has me stretched thin between managing life, my local business, and this project.
I have not forgotten anyone and as soon as I have time - possibly not until Monday but hopefully before - I will get back to everyone and return the favor for every single comment. (I still have 8 waiting for approval - the comment exchange here is just amazing!!!)
I was sooooo stressed out yesterday. My solution to stress is to talk to people - it just gets me in a totally different frame of mind. An associate of mine said this during our conversation:
Stress shows you your character. And then lets you develop it.
I had to slow down and realize that on the other side of this, my character was being tested and developed. The strongest people I know are the ones who have faced repeated obstacles. So rather than worrying about how stressful the situation is right now, I can take a deep breath, a step back, and ask myself what kind of person I want to be faced with this hurdle?
I don't have to make myself frantic. I don't have to worry about others thinking maybe I don't have it all together after all. I am me, living life, doing the best I know to do, and always willing to learn to do better. Exhale. Much, much better.

I was told to exhale in preparation for a pandemic I blogged about yesterday Jennifer. It's always good advice whatever the occasion!
Do not worry about what others think of you, you can never please everybody. I am 57 and the older you get, the more you are realizing, stressing out about things doesn't do anyone any good.
Take care dear:)
Hi Jennifer,
You are an inspiration for all of us!
Keep on believing in yourself.
You have proven that you turn lemons into lemonade!
Thank for your post!

Actually, we all have the ability to feel any way we want to at anyt given time. Just stop for a second, take a couple of deep breaths, and tell ourselves how we are going to feel. We can't just let our mind take us anywhere it wants to without our permission!
Peace!
