I didn't know ezines was still running. That's an oldie. But hey, I reckon if you can post anywhere for free and give yourself a backlink go hard! lol
Oh, I don’t know if any of them are still running. I just remembered the name so I mentioned it.

Good Morning WA. Being pretty new still, I am getting to the point where I want to start adding some short videos to my blog posts. Doing the videos right now myself is another
I think you should check first about legality of doing this. Try with the following prompt and go to AI and then follow what it gives you:
Is it legal to take portion of somebody's youtube video? Please provide source if possible.
there is a full list of the parameters you can add to yt links - including start and end for start and end times....

Are you referring to videos created by others on YouTube? So, you're just going to YouTube, grabbing the embed code and embedding on your blog? I don't believe there is a way to grab only part of it - there is only the one embed code.
Yes, I’m sorry yes I’m referring to other people’s videos.
When I use to be toying around with affiliate marketing years and years ago I remembered that there was a way to only take a portion of the video. You could manipulate what portion within the vid you wanted and it would give you the code for only that portion. However, way back then YouTube was not owned by Google so maybe all those possibilities are no longer available.
Actually, I stand corrected. I just looked on YouTube. If you go to a video, advance the video to the place where you want the embedded video to start, then go to SHARE, then EMBED - you'll get a popup box with the embed code. If you look below the code, there is a box to check that says "Start at [time]". It should default to whatever place in the video you chose. See if that works for you.
Very good! Thanks. I guess I could have did a better job at looking it up myself but thank you Mary-Elle
Dont be too hard on yourself this is all a learning curve and a tough one at that. AND..................by asking that question I learned too

I see you are well covered here, Randy!
If you are creating a niche-focused website, you can promote WA on your About Me post. You may include a paragraph in the middle of the page or towards the end, adding a few features about the benefits of joining the WA platform. You can hyperlink your unique affiliate link there, which you can fetch via the $ sign at the top menu.
If you share it on social media platforms, I would shorten it with pretty links before sharing, as some platforms don't like affiliate links shared raw as is.
However, what would be more feasible is to write a post, include your affiliate links, and share your post on social media platforms.
Alternatively, you could use plugins such as Grow Social (Hubbub Lite) or Social Rocket.
Plugins and add new, input keywords, install, and activate. Share Your WA Affiliate Links & Earn! Abie
You can still find it under the search icon as mentioned. When you build a Hub though, you can choose any niche you want, there aren't two directions. If you want to promote WA, you can choose a niche that is relevant to WA.
It can still be found under the search though, and I have a new approach coming to promote WA, which will be a new series coming in the new year. ;)
And of course if you ever need a hand with any of your campaigns I will be more than happy to help you out. ;)

I have watched several of the training videos for featured images, and additional ccs, but I am having A LOT of trouble making saving or manipulating a featured post image to a
Hi Randy, I make all my featured images in Canva. So, I create whatever size I want for the featured post image, and use that as a template for every featured post image I need to create. For example, I used the Kadence theme, and my featured images are 1200 x 630 pixels. So if I always use an image in that size, then they will all look uniform on your blog. Once you create the image in Canva, you can download to your computer, and then upload it from there to your Wordpress back office media. Then you just grab it from there when you go to set the featured image in the post.
If you don't have too many posts on your blog yet, you can go back and create new featured images in a uniform size for all your posts, then I think it will look like you want it.
And, FYI - the size depends slightly on which Wordpress them you're using.
Hope that makes sense!
Makes TOTAL sense and it is exactly what I needed to hear.
I honestly thought I would need to do that but thought it might get done from my back office. But that’s what I will do from now on thanks loads!
