I Wrote a 6,286 Word Post Today on My Website, and I'm Here Writing This!
WRITING MASSIVE CONTENT AND HAVING A SOCIAL LIFE, TOO.
Have you ever heard people say that there just aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish what you need to get done? Well, I am here to tell you that THERE ARE!
You just have to space your time out and remember to take breaks so you don't fry your brain!
In a previous post, Preparing for 2019, I stated my main goal for the next 3 months as being to write five 1,000-word Comparison Reviews per day / 5 days a week = 5,000 words a day or 25,000 words per week! (This compares to writing a small novel!).
So, counting this blog post today, (which really doesn't count--I just do this for fun and to help people), I wrote a total of 6,613 words! Wait, what? lol. Let's see what tomorrow brings! As an author, if I can do THIS, think of how many books I can write! That will be my next goal!!
WHEN I TAKE A BREAK.
I like to SOCIALIZE! Tonight, I left my writing behind and had a much-needed visit to my Daughter, Son-In-Law and puppy Abby's home. We had a bonding night talking and catching up, as well as watching a favorite TV show. Their puppy is getting so BIG! I stayed for 2 hours.
When I arrived back home to my kitties, I got ready for bed and then started plugging away again! It has now been 4 more hours later. So, I will wrap this blog up and call it a night.
TOMORROW MORNING UP BRIGHT AND EARLY.
I will see you all in the A.M---Well, I will be on SiteContent doing more writing, but, I'm sure that I will pop in from time to time! After all, the community counts as one of my breaks, too!
PLEASE LIKE and SHARE, if you wish, to SPREAD THE MOMENTUM! Thank you!
Erin :)!

I am literally speechless. How long did it take you to write that many words?
Chuck
PS. You don't look old enough to have a married daughter and son-in-law. Puppies and kitties, yes.
LOL, Chuck! Liked your comment to Terand earlier, by the way! Thanks for seeing me as younger! Bless you, my friend!

My pleasure, good friend! How are you?? Still keeping you in my prayers----yes, I always make time for that! lol

That life balance is so important and it sounds like you're getting it right.
I'm writing 4-5k words a day at the moment and late last week I felt like I was just doing too much... never leaving the house or socialising so now I'm pushing myself to be sociable a bit more even though, really, I just wants to stay in and write.
For me, the social aspect breathes new life into your writing, keeps you fresh. Even if it just means walking the dog or taking a walk to the shops. I need to make the conscious effort not to turn into a complete hermit lol
LOL, Simon. I hear you and can TOTALLY relate! You're doing AMAZING WORK, my friend!!! My breaks are only a couple hours here and there, if that. I try to get some sleep at night, and if I pull an all-nighter, I sleep in a bit. It's all good!

Good for you Erin! Wow! You are doing great. I am happy I just finished my second post in the last few days. I did one for each of my sites. I was home sick so I made the most of it and got a post done.
That's great, Jessica! Writing does take our minds off other things. Keep up the great work and thanks for your nice comment! XOXO
