Does My Content Make People Take Action?
WRITE AS THOUGH YOU WERE THE VISITOR. WHAT WOULD YOU ASK?
It's important to be passionate and personal about your blog subject, but you need to include more than that. Are you writing content that will make people take out their wallet?
In order to make your content "pop," you also should write everything directed at your audience. For instance, they are why you are doing what you do. Without them, you won't succeed. Focus on their problems and solving them. It will make a huge difference in the long run!
QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF WHEN WRITING CONTENT.
- What are my visitor's needs?
- What particular problems do they need solved?
- What do they want?
- When reading my content, will they take action?
- Have I used passion to help people?
- What driving force can I come up with to make the conversion?
Directing all your focus on your audience's needs will help them gain interest in a big way! Pull out all the stops and write what they want to hear---and NEED to hear. Use passion and personality to add flair. Be sympathetic to their desires. Know that by doing this, you are truly helping others and making their online experience a wonderful one! Make their time on your blog hit home and become a memorable one!
PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS POST TO SPREAD THE PASSION! Thank you!

Hey Erin,
Another very useful article specially for newbies. It is sometimes hard to remember the fundamental of content writing,
you are solving problems for your audience and answering questions in their minds.
Thank you.
When thinking about it the obvious answer, is write for your audience, but I wonder how many people are forgetting that.
Derek
Just a simple reminder, Derek. Write and provide the kinds of things and products that YOU, personally, would like to read and buy. Make it a win-win situation for all involved!

Hey Erin,

Great advice to always have your audience in mind, Erin. The only question is - how do you know for sure what your audience is like and actually likes before you have lots of sales? You can only assume things and hope you are right. Once you get a lot of traffic and sales, you can of course analyse all activities and find out what works but before that point it must be much harder. How do you find out what your audience wants, Erin?
I simply state the obvious, Beate. I put myself in people's shoes. Say I have a WA promotion site for making money online. Most are in tune to similar circumstances in their lives that I mention. Most are living the 9-5 rat race or struggling somehow to make ends meet. I guess I go with the statistics here and relate in a like manner.
As for product affiliate sites, the same thing applies. Again, put yourself in people's shoes. What products are trendy and the ones you think people would prefer and use. Review two products and choose the one YOU like best. Chances are that they will go with the same one. If not, they may just purchase the other one--making it a win-win. Make sure, however, that you always have their best interest at heart, and it will show!
Relate to the circumstances and products the way you would. Show passion and compassion in respect to those circumstances and products. There are so many ways in which to relate on a personal level!
Hope this helped some! Erin :)!
Thank you, Erin! So basically assume that your target audience is a bit like you...
Your words may just convince them of their similarities! xo
