SO YOU HAVE A BLOG--LET'S STIR UP SOME TRAFFIC!

No matter what niche you are working with, there are always ways to excite your visitor!!

In this fun blog post, I will share with you ways that are sure to stir up some interest! They are general ideas you can apply to most niches.

ASK QUESTIONS AND ENCOURAGE ANSWERS! Write a post that asks questions. Get your visitor involved in what you're selling. Really get into some interesting views here. Chances are that your customer will answer your questions in the comments below. In fact, ask your visitors to do just that! See how many comments you can attract!

INITIALIZE A FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS PAGE! Make an initial FAQ page and encourage audience interaction! The more visitors you have asking questions, the better! Then, you can answer them. This type of page will grow rapidly and before you know it, you'll have a great resource for your traffic to click on!

ARE THERE CELEBS USING YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICE?! Do some Google research and see if there are any celebrities using your products or service. If so, mention them! People love to read about celebs and their interest will be sparked immediately! It is called "Famous Persons Appeal." I learned that in the fifth grade! LOL! Warning: There may be copyrighted issues here, as many celebs have copyrighted their name as a brand. You would need their endorsement to use their name associated with your product, and a fee might apply. (I just learned this from a comment below. Things are surely different now than they were back in the day!)

SPARK UP SOME DEBATE! Unfortunately, people are intrigued with "Dirty Laundry." But, fortunately for you, it could work to your advantage! Go against the "norm" here and the popular opinion of a product. Reach your visitors by stirring up a little controversy! Take a standpoint in the opposite direction, contrary to what most people think of something. Use some reverse psychology! You will be surprised at the people who will find this interesting!

REFER TO YOUR PRODUCT OR SERVICE AS A TREND SETTER! A great topic to talk about relating to your product is trends---talk about how trendy it is and how it fits into today's society!

PREVIEW FUTURE HAPPENINGS OF WHAT IS TO COME! In order to get return visitors, you must discuss what is to come in the future. Give them a sneak peek at things to come on your site or what you will be including in the year ahead. It will also add credibility to your site!

PRODUCT SUCCESS STORIES! Customer success stories with the products are huge! Ask for testimonials with your product to generate positive buying decisions. Making the products or service you're selling credible will lead to some great sales!

FIND OUT NEWS ABOUT YOUR PRODUCTS OR SERVICE! You can run a Google Alert on specific keywords that relate to your business niche to find important news items to discuss on your blog posts!---A great way to keep your customers up on the current events of your product or service!

WRITE A BOOK REVIEW! I love this one!---Write a book review on a book relating to your niche that you think your customers may like! Give the book of interest a write-up! Yet, another way to drum up some worth!

DO A COMPARISON TEST! Test out a few related products or services with a comparison test, then blog about it! Write about and compare other products or services to yours!----A sure-fire way to add value to your product!

I could actually go on and on with other great blog topics and ways to increase traffic, but I think I've given you some good ones to run with!
