My Thirty Six Hour Day.

So I went to bed two nights ago at an earlier than usual time. (I think it was sometime the next morning!)

This was after the following activities:

  • physical; getting up - a bit hard with my current pinched nerve! Walking to the kitchen for breakfast ditto the nerve.
  • culinary; of bottling olives, making and bottling lemon curd, and making bread
  • outside; of chipping lime render out on the house's straw bale walls beside the veranda to put water proofing in
  • reading; to get a new website post done (haven't even started continuing with this today
  • reviewing; a couple certification courses
  • helping; someone who is trying to delete a page and can't (I haven't done this so thought helping her would be a good way for me to learn (ps this is how I do my tutorials)
  • helping; someone sort out his post. (I sent him three pages of comments and that took up most of yesterday - I was trying to sort out a Kobo eReader issue at the same time so this didn't take as long as it sounds; and
  • domestic; housework.

When my 36 hour day was over I was exhausted so I thought the follow video would relax me. Well it would if I was this furry feline!

Just kidding about the 36 hours. It just felt like that!

But it was a good tale so I could bequile you with this blissful puss.

Great post, Thanks, and have a great weekend.

You too mate. Local trivia quiz tonight so just starting to make table snacks now. But hopefully not as busy as that day.

Thank's for sharing!! Helen

You're welcome Brian.

Love the post! You are a very busy lady! Love that video with the kitty too! LOL...

Have a great weekend Helen!

Best wishes

Barbara

Barbara, yup that puss looks ecstatic!

All I can say is, "Wow!"

I couldn't say wow at the end of this day but I did the next.

36 hours in pain, I am sorry but I don't envy you that Helen, homemade lemon curd and bread, god yes! and olives as well, and being so helpful while you are in pain, you are a saint, woman:-))Steph

Steph, actually it only seemed like that many hours. I think I was speeding along like clockwork and got so much done that it seemed like 36 hours. The result - a go slow today! Well except for this post.

That's not fair - I want 36 hours in a day lol! I adore lemon curd so that sounds yummy to me :)

Jude, I downloaded a Nigella Lawson recipe from our Masterchef series. It was a lemon pavlova and the lemon curd is from that. It is super easy and very intense. Here (I hope) is the link.

Delicious, thank you so much :)

Owww, I envy you, I only get 24 hours in a day....

Loes, you do so much I think you do have that many hours a day! What did you think of that spoiled cat!

LOL Helen. My Persian Long Hair would love that. Lemon curds and olives. Sounds like you live in a Mediterranean climate. Good for you!

Nah, the lemons come from up the mainland. I love me stone fruit down here but really miss my mandarin, lemon and mango trees.

You almost had me believing the 36 hour part with everything you did. I almost had to go & have a lie down as I was exhausted reading it hehehe... Well done Helen :)

Well that was almost pointless. The video dropped out. Let's try again!

Thats ok I didn't get to look at the video. I had to have my lie down...

WOW! Sounds like you have achieved a lot in your day, well done! I am sure it was 36 hours!

Well that was almost pointless. The video dropped out. Let's try again!

That cat was in seventh heaven! LOL !

I think I would go further and say orgasmic!
