Well he lost in the semi finals of the singles today. Couldnt get his kick serve to work well enough. Got to three sets but couldnt finish it out. He was as cross as hell when he came off... everything was wrong... he was tired, legs like jelly, headache, backache.. nothing I said made a difference. So we marched back to the hotel.

Got food and water into him, headache tabs, cool down with the air con and massage on his back.... Mr Grumpy Gills turned back into my son.... 🤣

Altitude is still a problem, says he feels like the incredible hulk trying to move on the courts....

Two hours later hes on court for the semi final of the doubles with his partner from Israel. They won ! No such problems with his kick serve, no Mr Grumpy Gillls and the back ache is better!

So we march on to the final tomorrow. Then Saturday we are going to the Marriott Hotel for a deep tissue massage, a swim in their pool and a cocktail for me! Hopefully this will set him up for next week !

Oh, and I managed to post a blog on my website ! YES! A good day!

Latest Update !

So after the medals ceremony I decided to upgrade for the day and we have gone to the Marriott Kigali..... definitely better than where we are staying but with a price tag too.... 🤣

Pool was lovely, wifi awesome ! and they serve margaritas ! Heaven for a day....
