Does Keyword Search Work?
Oh my does it what!
For my fellow new budding online entrepreneurs here is some proof that yes good keyword searches do work and it's worth you putting in the time and effort to search out great keywords.
Here at Wealthy Affiliate we have access to an easy to use keyword search tool in Jaaxy. We all have free access to his wonderful tool.
Even Starter Members get 30 free searches, and as a Premium member I have access to Jaaxy Lite with as many keyword searches as I need. And boy have I been using them!
We all also have access to training which teaches us how to choose low hanging fruit keywords.
Because this is crucial to your success the training is made available at Level 1.
If you feel you may have skipped over the keyword training and you don't fully understand how to choose them then I urge you to go back and redo the lesson - it really is that important.

What sort of results can a newbie get?
And as you will see I have been making good use of the learning and the Jaaxy access to produce some fantastic keywords and results. My keywords early on have not been super
creative or particularly catchy, this is something I am working on.
A quick bit of background - My niche site is not even 4 months old, I have 45 posts and 6 pages, 90 comments and my Site Trust is only at 30%. It's a work in progress.
I have 6 review posts and the results below show you the power of applying the WA training and the low hanging fruit theory.
As of today, all 6 of these posts are ranking on page 1, most in Position 1 on either Google, Bing or Yahoo, and in some case all three.

Uploaded: 7th March, 2018
Position: Google - 1, Bing - 1, Yahoo - 1
This is above Amazon UK, and on Google the 2nd position is held by me also with my Facebook page.
Keyword: Wool Horse Rug Product Review
Uploaded: 9th March, 2018
Position: Google - 1, Bing - 1, Yahoo - 1
This is above Amazon and Ebay.
Keyword: Tuff Rock for Horses Product Review
Uploaded: 31st March, 2018
Position: Google - 7, Bing - ?, Yahoo - 1
I was at #2 on Google but have slipped to 7, not sure why.

Do The Training!
I think this is testament to the quality of the training here at WA, seeing as I am brand new to affiliate marketing, knowing absolutely nothing other than what I have learnt through the Certification course.
I am now spreading my wings a little and looking for better AVG's and not being as strict with my QSR's.
I need more eyes looking at my content, and some of my How To blogs are starting to rank also with much better averages.
So there you have it.
When you are thinking or questioning "when will my content rank?"
For a brand new site it may not be within 21 minutes as per Jay's training, and all these blogs were written before I had watched and put into practice Jay's wonderful training. BUT if you pick low hanging fruit you too will not only get ranked you will be on Page 1.
Both of the Best Of posts were inspired after reading Dylan's 6 Figure Website training on how to write Best Of's and multi product reviews. I need a lot more practice on these types of blogs but even my newbie attempts have gotten ranked.
There is so much valuable training here at WA that will help your site rank and make sales.
Work your way through the Certification or Bootcamp. For some variety pick any of the live webinars at random (and go back through the archives) and you will learn something. Trawl through other member's blog posts/training and add to your education (and be inspired at the same time).

Thanks Christie, Jaaxy is well worth getting your head around, I spend a lot of time in there these days looking for more creative keywords.
I find I can sometimes be a bit bland so trying to spice things up a bit on my Bootcamp site, it's a lot of fun.
Thank you Howard, it is very satisfying to know you are doing something right and that the training does work. I have struggled with knowing if what I am doing is right so definite confirmation is always reassuring.

Thanks Dave, as soon as one of my sites starts making some money I am going to upgrade Jaaxy but for the minute the Lite version is fantastic and does everything I need.

I'm up to the keyword training in Bootcamp now and loving the refresher. With so much to learn it is easy to become overwhelmed and forget the important bits.
