Beginning to Feel the Reality...
Earlier today I was feeling VERY down-hearted.
I was struggling with my site and felt like I wasn't going to get anywhere with it.
I started to doubt that I could make money through Wealthy Affiliates... (and let's face it, that is what we are ALL here to do.. so... it's a legitimate fear.)
Every time I worked so hard on my theme, only to get feed back from many different people that it wasn't colorful enough, then it was too colorful, the picture at the top was too big, people were confused that they needed to scroll past a large picture to get to the site, then the picture was too small and didn't give enough drama to my site, then my font was hard to read because it was scripted, then my font wasn't interesting enough and too blocky.
After working on my site for 9 hours today (I also made a Facebook page and Instagram account to help market my site. After Sabbath, I'll be branching out to Pinterest, on Sunday!)... my head was pounding, my eyes were burning, my butt was sore from sitting so long, my dog was crying in the corner... and I felt like just sitting down and joining her.
Let's just cry together Olive... sound good?
FINALLY ... after ALL DAY of working on it... I decided to ask my husband what his opinion was of my new and improved site with some color, but not to much, new font, smaller picture etc....
You know what he said?
"Babe... what happened? Where is the color? What happened to the pretty font? Why is the picture so small and uninteresting? What... I mean... I hate it. Baby, why did you change everything? This looks like a 3rd grader could have created it!"
Needless to say... I was a little upset.
But then I heard what I needed to hear.... "Tabitha, you liked it the way it was... right? You created it that way because it pleased you, it reflected your personality and what you were offering. You put your heart and soul into it... and now you've worked so HARD to take your heart and soul out of it, just to make it some generic page that anyone could have created. Just be you... I want this website to succeed! I want YOU to succeed. You are only going to succeed if you are doing what YOU want, right? Because if you are are just living life and going through the motions, you aren't happy... and if you aren't happy... are you really living life?"
Wow... Thank you Lord for giving me such a wonderful husband and helpmeet.
SO, all that to say... I've fixed my site. It is the way I want it.. and it's HERE TO STAY, PEOPLE! lol
I'm posting it here to get some feed-back, but only on the general structure of things, the content, etc. I will no longer change my theme or work so hard to make everyone happy. Because that is impossible, isn't it? Everyone has a different opinion, and no one is going to be happy all the time. If I AM HAPPY, that is what counts! :-D

I Like it. My only critique would be to say 'scroll down' or something. I did see the arrow, but I searched around the page a bit before I actually scrolled. I kept trying to click on something. Sadly, there are quite a few of us blondes out there so you have to make it super easy for us. ;)
Your site is unique. I loved the look of it. But the bottom line is, this is YOUR site to build it out the way you want it to look. If you are happy with it and it reflects who you are then go with it!
Your site looks great, and as you say, you can't please everybody, the main thing is that you are happy with it. Great job, love the sculpture, hope you will add more like that, good luck
It certainly is different than the version I saw earlier today. I think it's great. I love how the page scrolls up over the elephant photo. Is that part of the theme or an added special effect? Whatever you decide is best is best. We've all gone, and are still going, through days of doubting if it's worth it. It's worth it! Keep working on it and following the training and it will become easier to believe.
By the way, I liked the content before. That hasn't changed!
