Still working on my first site. It is going slower than I thought. I've designed sites through FB, Go Daddy and Homestead. I find this platform very foreign and not so piont and click. I'm going to give this my best, but if I start to slide I'm reaching out for help. Call me stubborn but I learn better making mistakes along the way.

Don't panic, just be sure to understand every step you follow with the training, everything takes a while before seeing results, keep going, stay motivated and confident.

Much appreciated thanx. 😊

@GRollick @whenson

The main thing I noticed that after I created the site I would log in and then do the work from the dashboard just as if I created in wordpress. You can add pages, etc once you are in the dashboard. At what part are you stuck and I'll try to help.

That's what I noticed. I created a post in Wordpress and realized that I had Site Creator. Once I tried to use Site Creator, any edits did not take affect. I had to redo all edits within Wordpress. It's all go for now. Knock knock!

Unfortunately, I learned this too, once you publish it from site content it can no longer be edited because it is "alive" - and wordpress takes over from there - that's why I do my best to always complete the majority of my content writing on our side, so that I can just had or edit bits and peaces in wordpress.

@SnazzyIT and @Gollick

I have to say I hate the Gutenberg I use a WordPress plugin to remove Gutenburg I think its called classic editor plug in. I can go in switch it around just as I want it. Hope that helps.

Thanx for the heads up πŸ‘†.

Hang in there. I'm new too, still working my way through the training and website build. I've designed other sites as well, but never with the instruction and attention to detail/SEO guidance as shown here. This was just what I needed to get myself going.

Agreed. I find the training here world class. I'm old school and worked with HTML in the cheesy 90s. Thankfully the support is also world class.

Hey im new as well and had a hard time figuring the smallest thing out with building my website. Until...... someone dropped some links for me and it was a huge help in understanding how the platform for website building that is not shown in the training so here you go check them out it was huge for me and is a lot easier not

BIG THANX! 😁

Yeah, I just started and this site builder looks pretty foreign to me too. I'm sure it will become more clear as we progress. Best of luck.

One day at a time. Right? 😎

Poking around and making mistakes teaches you things. Sometimes though, it's wasted effort. I'm usually pretty good with wordpress but last week, I spent 4 hours digging around for css info, trying to change my header font size. I was about to bang my head against the wall because nothing I tried was working. A css expert fixed my problem for me in like 5-10 minutes. I felt like an idiot for not asking for help sooner...but I did learn some css unrelated to my problem so it wasn't a total loss.

Lol! My head hurts too! Yes I do agree that it's good to walk the trenches for abit cuz I'm sure once I reach out, I'll be reaching and driving everyone nuts. Ha!

Continue following the training...I'm fairly new here and had to go through the videos a couple of times before everything fell into place. I'm still learning, but things are starting to get a tiny bit easier. Ask questions as the community here is very helpful!

Thanks for the support. Your right, everyone here is VERY supportive. πŸ‘

I am calling you stubborn if you don't reach out for help, so just do it! Written with much care for your success :)

Next issue for sure "I'm reachin out". That almost sounds like a song. πŸ˜‚

Hahaha we can make a jingle to go with your future ad video for WA!
