Helped my new Judo club by building them a Website :)

I signed my kids up for Judo over the summer as they were doing kids' Karate but it was costing loads and yes they were flying up the belt but weren't sparing just doing moves. My eldest who is 8 is already a blue belt but has no clue how to fight or defend himself. So strange when he has spent 2 years they already. It felt like they were just going through the process but not really developing them.

So I decided we needed to look for something else. When I was a kid I did Judo myself and I loved it. I don't know why I stopped I really wish I had carried on. So I thought let's try them on that. My daughter now 5 and my son are both loving it now so it was the right choice. They learned more in the first few weeks than in 2 years in Karate. Both sparing every session and learning how to take on people bigger than them.

Also, it's great as the club focuses on athletic ability and stamina to make them stronger and more athletic for their future, even if it's not in Judo.

They loved it so that much I decided to join them and now we do it as a family as my autistic son also does it with me now. So we now have something we can all do together.

I then realised the club were just using Instagram and Facebook so I decided to use what we had available and offered to build them a website for the club to help them grow. WA has given me something I can use to give back to help the club as the coaches are all volunteers so do it for free the subs just go to the club for rent and equipment to enable them to keep going.

I'm excited to see where we will all be in the next 2 years, my kids, myself and the club.
