WOW. 5 years of wondering about moving from Blogger to WP solved in seconds
Today I got through the Back Up Your Website section of Bootcamp training and the process Kyle described was so fast and easy.

Just why I appreciated that so much is that years ago I had a Blogger site that I wanted to close down a transfer to WordPress. I got as far as being able to save the XML file which has been floating around in my computer for 5 years. Any attempts to put that information onto a new wordpress blog left me baffled mystified and frustrated.
Not only did Kyle's lesson teach me to Backup all of my websites, it helped me restore a blog I had worked on for years and had given up hope of ever resurrecting. I made it into a new Siterubix site for free in probably about a minute but now that I look at it, I know so much more about building a site, how SEO works, etc... I have so much more enthusiasm for my new niche sites built here. No wonder no one every visited my site all those years ago! That blog was just awful. I wished I had found WA a long time ago. I'm going to keep it just for sentimental value though and I might add to it once in a while.
