Awesome goals Gordon!

With the right amount of hard work, motivation, and dedication, I know that you CAN and WILL reach these goals and likely exceed them.

The first step to building an online business is to set yourself some goals. Now that you have these in place you now have something to work towards.

This is going to take time and you won't see results right away. Don't let this discourage you though. The work you put in today is going to pay off later. In some cases, it will continue to pay you for years to come.

Stick with the training, work hard at this, and ask questions whenever you have them.

I will be here to help you out and answer any questions you may have. I really am looking forward to working with you Gordon and helping you reach these goals.

Keep in touch and I will talk to you soon

Hi Scott. I'm slowly working my way through the first lessons. I have just created a wordpress site. I have two ideas. One is a bugout bag theme that might have a lot of possible products. The other is one my kids suggested that I'm not sure of since they will have to find the products. It is products for a niche group that appears to want to dress like Anime characters....IDK....seems like there are some affiliates for that.

My biggest worry about this is if it will work. is it all a pipe dream to make aliving off this...

Next is if / how I can find the products I like with affiliate programs...

and another is is how or if i will be able to drive traffic to my website...
scottdogg187 Premium
Sorry for the late reply Gordon!!

I'm glad to hear that you're working your way through the lessons and that you have created your first WP website.

I'm not sure about your first idea, but the one that your kids suggested seems like it would be a great niche for you to get into.

Anime is huge and there are literally 1,000s of mini niches inside this massive niche that you could build out into separate mini niche sites.

The idea here is to break this down into smaller bite-size pieces that are easier to digest and swallow.

What targeted group of people would you like to help within this niche?

The more you break this down the easier it will be for you to reach out to your targeted audience, answer their questions, and lead them in the right direction (Your affiliate offers)

As for the products, I wouldn't worry about this just yet, as this will come later on in the training (Course 3 I believe)

I can totally understand that you're still skeptical and are still wondering if this really works or if this is another pie in the sky fantasy.

Well, when I came here over 4 years ago, I felt the same way and wasn't sure if this worked or not.

I simply started going through the training and started taking action on what I learned.

Guess what?

It took me quite a while to see any type of results, but once I did it make it worth every last min that I invested into it.

I was able to quit my full-time job in under a year (10 months to be exact) and do this full-time. I have been earning a full time living from doing this since 2014 and my income increases all the time.

If you're willing to put in the hard work, time, and dedication this can be more than a pipe dream.

You could make this a reality and I'll be here to help you out every step of the way.

As you continue to go through the training you'll learn how to drive traffic to your site and how to get ranked on the first page of Google for a variety of keywords.

I really hope this helps you out Gordon and please let me know if you have any further questions or need my help.

Thank you for your detailed response and encouragement Scott. I'm so glad I found you and your site! Interesting about the Anime thing....I don't know much about it and my daughter says she doesn't want to write a blog for it lol. I have been thinking I might shelve the whole idea, but after seeing your comments, I have been wondering if there was a way to make it so any of her related posts on twitter or tumbler could get posted as blog posts on WP. And start watching some anime haha. I still have a lot to learn about just the workings of WP though.

I am presently writing the third article for the second course and have just received an email notice that my site has been 'listed'. I took some time to google what that meant exactly and it occurred to me that if I had not been in the WA program I would have had to learn what it meant on my own, find out if I was listed, and a lot more hours days and weeks figuring out and maybe never figuring out what to do next, but here its pretty much all automated down to me getting a nice little email informing me I was listed. It's amazing.

I like how more is getting delivered than what was promised in that way. Also how well thought out and organized the lessons are. The way the site itself encourages you to participate in the community and keep moving forward with 'my accomplishment' awards gives it motivation almost like a video game and that is probably the best use of that psychology I have seen to keep you hooked into something that could really be productive (not like video games.)

I appreciate your reassurances and your own story about the money. Really it has really given me a boost of confidence. I would love to hear more so I want to keep in touch...get more advice if possible...and hear more about your success!

Thanks again Scott. I'll keep you posted.

You are very welcome Gordon!!

I'm glad that you were able to find my website and ultimately connect with me. If Anime isn't something that you're interested in writing about then I wouldn't recommend this as a good starting point for you.

No, If you don't want to consistently write about this niche then I don't really see it working for you and I don't think you could piggyback off of related posts on Twitter.

What I would recommend that you do, however, is to pick something that you're passionate about like a hobby of yours and go with that.

Yes, If you weren't a premium member of WA, you would have to manually figure out all of this on your own and this could take you additional days, weeks, and months of extra unnecessary research.

This whole process is already frustrating and extremely overwhelming on its own without adding more to it.

WA is a pretty amazing online business platform and as you continue working your way through the training and immersing yourself in the community and engaging with other people you will see that WA truly is one of a kind.

As you continue moving forward you will unlock achievements and little rewards to keep you motivated and encouraged (like a video game)

Great analogy BTW!!

I also happen to be a huge gamer myself!!

I always love telling my story of how I got started and why it's so important to go with something you're passionate about over something that you think could be profitable.

Hard work definitely pays off and if you're willing and able to give this business the time it deserves it will really pay off for you.

Definitely keep in touch and let me know whenever you need some advice or need a hand narrowing down your niche to find your targeted market.

I'll definitely ask for some advice as I go along. I already feel the need to ask but I don't want to burn you out so I'm going to wait for when if I get really stuck, since I have a lot of questions.

As it is now I am at level 2 lesson 5 and putting in visuals for my content and realizing that I could have cut this web site into much smaller pieces. I'm thinking maybe I can use it as a kind of outline and then make a bunch of sites or maybe pages around it that review specific related products. I'm not sure. That is starting to feel overwhelming. It may be too big and possibly too negative a subject to appeal to people. Trying to make it positive.

I have been really into gaming a lot too in the past, but feeling the pressure to make more money now I feel guilty like I should be working all the time instead. My kids are really into Overwatch at the moment but I feel a little too old to be doing those types of games now as my kung fu reflexes just aren't what they used to be haha. All I really have patience for these days is Clash of Clans.

I was also talking to the kids about if they knew of any affiliate type programs related to online gaming and they seemed to think there were but I don't see how that could work. Don't know much about it. Have you seen any? Again I'm not totally up on that subject either but I might be. idk.

Otherwise I'm having a harder time thinking of related interests than I thought I would, But I have one and maybe another in Law of Attraction subject but again. I have no idea about affiliates and that i guess I will have to trust will be there when I get to level3

Hi Gordon,

Yes, definitely reach out to me whenever you need a hand with anything or have any questions for me.

Don't worry about burning me out, that's what I'm here for to help you out.

I'm glad that you're currently on level 2, lesson 5 of the training, but what niche have you decided to go with?

Yea, you probably would do a whole lot better if you try and narrow this down to a more targeted audience.

This will make it so much easier for you to reach out and help these people and provide them with the information they're looking for.

Starting out you should try and keep things as simple as possible so you don't find yourself becoming overwhelmed.

I actually created a gaming website, bought my own domain, and even made a couple of sales from Amazon.

This was due to me being able to narrow this down and targeting a specific sector of the gaming industry.

If you have any passion for gaming and know a good amount about this niche, then you should definitely pursue this.

If you need a hand narrowing this down please let me know and I would be more than happy to help you out with this Gordon.

I've heard a lot about Overwatch but I've never played it. Is it a good game?

There are many gaming affiliate programs out there that will pay you a generous commission for driving traffic to their website.

Just a few gaming affiliate programs off the top of my head would be

Best Buy

I happen to be an affiliate for all 3 of these companies and have earned a couple of commissions from them as well.

Gaming is just 1 of the millions of potential niches at your fingertips Gordon and if this is something you don't feel qualified to talk about that's fine.

Here are a few questions you should be asking yourself before deciding upon any niche

1. Is ______ something you could see yourself writing about for the next 3 or 4 years without getting bored with it or running out of things to write about?
2. Does_______ excite you whenever you think about it and do you feel like you have a good amount of knowledge about this topic to help other people?
3. What group of people are you looking to help within this niche? The more you narrow this down and the more targeted you get the better your chances are of being successful.

If you base your niche on something you enjoy doing or a hobby of yours, the chances of you being successful have just doubled.

If you pick a niche based on how much money it could make you then you'll have very limited success in the online world.

I hope this helps Gordon and please let me know if you need any further help with this.

...and here I thought I had so many interests....now that I'm pressed to come up with one....well I think I can write about this subject for 3-4 years but it is wider than the website I've been working on.

There are so many little things that keep coming up in my mind that I could fix but am not clear on how to do it like: I wanted to make basic subject headings at the top for certain disaster scenarios, then in Categories place current posts related to the introductory articles or headings. That is something I am slowly getting figured out on WP.

But the biggest problem I see is that I don't want to get too negative or fear mongering, but that is what this audience wants, I think. I am really not of the same ilk as so many 'preppers' and Alex Jones types, yet I do agree with them on some things. Maybe there is a niche for liberal preppers? hahaha.

I know I don't want to speak to the paranoid doom and gloomers and yet I am one in the sense that I fancy the idea of being prepared but differing in the sense I think people need to take more civic responsibility for what is going on than just trying to save themselves.

Anyway, I don't know if I can handle being that negative for long periods of time, however, I was wondering if people do news sites or have news posts as part of the blog they do and somehow incorporate that into the links to Affiliates.

And I have been thinking of resurrecting an old Law of Attraction Blog I had up years ago I think i was able to save everything off of Blogger in the hopes I could transfer it to WP one day but I never could figure it out. But there is a lot of material on there I could use.

But I don't know if I would want to promote any LOA affiliates on that.

If you have the time have a look at my site, and let me know what you think. I am trying to get onto gravitar at the moment, geting lost in the abc keyword search stuff, and have located some affiliate programs and products I would love to write about, but am waiting to get through Course 2 first as I'm finding I have to go back to redo stuff as each lesson comes out lol

I could write a lot more but am trying to wait until I learn more about what I could and should do on the site

I am going to start looking into gaming stuff. But that might mean I would have to get back into gaming...(such a shame) haha
scottdogg187 Premium
Hi Gordon,

I had a look at your site and I must say that I'm quite impressed with what you have done already.

Great Job Man!!

However, there are a few things that are worth pointing out and I'll list them for you below!!

Your about me page is the place people come to get to know you better and make a connection with you.

You should upload a nice picture of yourself at the top right of this page to make it stand out. You are likely to gain peoples trust a whole lot quicker and make a solid connection with them if you have a pic of yourself on your about me page.

This also tells them that you are indeed a real person and not just another no-name person on the internet that's out to get their money.

Also in your sidebar on the right side, I would remove everything there but the recent posts as these are widgets that come already installed when you activated your WP site.

You should remove these and add your own that are more relevant to the overall theme of your site.

To do this go to your WP dashboard and navigate your mouse to appearance, widgets and look to your right.

You should see these widgets here and to remove them simply hover your mouse over them to drag and drop them to the left to remove them from your sidebar.

Save your work and go check it out!!

Also, I would clean your menu up a bit by shortening your titles and try to fit everything in a single row. This will not only clean up your site, but it will also make it look more proffessional.

Other than that, everything else looks good man and once you make those adjustments and would like me to take another peek at this please let me know Gordon.

It looks like you have figured out how to create categories and add them to your menu.

Great job!!

I actually didn't know what a bug in a bag was until I checked out your site and then did a quick search on Google lol

If this is something you're truly passionate about and could see yourself talking about it for years then I would go for it.

It looks like a pretty interesting niche.

If you currently have content that's out there and published on blogger then you wouldn't want to bring that over here because that would be considered duplicate content which is a no-no with Google.

However, you could start over fresh with this niche and use this content to get ideas to write new, fresh, and original content for your new website.

Law of attraction is a really great niche to go with as well if you have a passion for this and could see yourself writing about it for a good amount of time.

Were you able to get your gravatar account setup?

In case you have any problems setting this up, here's a video from Kyle (Co-Owner of WA) where he shows you how to set all of this up.

Check it out below!! Let me know if you need any additional help setting this up after watching this video or if you have any other questions.

Hey Scott,

Thanks for the tips and,

Sorry I took so long to reply, I've had some IRL stuff going on trying to clear out my storage room. That is costing me way too much.
Anyway, I have also been trying to make the headings shorter and have relegated some to the posts to make one line. I will probably write some other articles that I want to be "introductory" and that probably could be 'pages' instead of posts as I want them to be more static somehow.
One of the headings "How to stay positive..." was actually a low hanging fruit keyword phrase I found so I don't really know how to shorten it. The others being pages, were not really keyword related titles.
Once I have those in place I have some drafts I am working on that will be posts with keyword low hanging fruit type.
I also have been locating affiliate programs and there have found programs for all the products I would like to review so far except one.
I joined the CJ network but I found I have to submit some kind of tax form..."Ouch" And I thought figuring out Gravitar issue was bad. Anyway, i'm in Canada so you may not know much about that...I'll have to ask kyle haha.
I also jumped ahead a bit and got a Google Analytics going and that took a couple of days of waiting, but its working enough to tell me no one but me is visiting lol.
i think I will fel better once I get onto some affiliate programs before starting to write landing pages and then reviews for these products.
I want to do and air filter review for the best air filter in the world.
Also VOG and Cambridge pollution masks
I want to do a Distilled water page and that may take several pages or posts of what that is and benefits etc
Finally a survival non-electric distiller I think is the best.
There will be a survival shelter, survival backpack, survival, knife, survival cart. survival, sleeping pad, survival, tarps survival, saw, survival anything you can carry in a pack PLUs eventually a "Bug-in" Section with household stuff. Man I hope this works.....
scottdogg187 Premium
You are most welcome Gordon!!

No worries man, I also apologize for the late reply as well.

We are all busy and I get that and I have also had some IRL stuff going on as well that has taken me away from my business for a while.

I only asked you to shorten the names in your menu for them to fit in 1 line.

This doesn't have anything to do with your headings or keywords in any way.

It's great to hear that you have located some affiliate programs to match up with your products that you want to promote.

As far as tax forms for Canada, I'm not sure how that would work so you are better off asking Kyle about that lol.

Great job on setting up your GA account and getting this squared away.

Affiliate programs are actually not mentioned until course 3 and if you haven't made it that far in the training just yet, I wouldn't worry about them.

It sounds like you've got your work cut out for you Gordon.

If I was you I would categorize these things into separate categories on your site so that it looks more organized.

It was great to hear from you man and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

If you need a hand with any of this or have any additional questions for me please let me know.

Hey Scott heres my report. I really appreciate being able to talk to you about this at this point as I don't have anyone but my kids to bounce things off of and they don't know enough lol.

I have been trying to think about the organization of the site and that has got me a bit paralyzed. I've noticed this is a bigger or wider topic than a lot of people have and needs some kind of structure. You are right. I was thinking some of the articles on the heading could go to the regular post section of the heading altogether and some could be left as static pages with short names and general topics that link to the categories which would be of the same titles.

I am on level 3 lesson 7 now and that was very stressful getting there haha. Just starting to look at Adsense. I now have 3 review pages.

One with Moosejaw.com affiliate program:

And 2 so far with Amazon.com

linking from this webpage which I want to be one of the header static pages. Do you know of an easy way to make a post into a page besides maybe copying and pasting to a new page?

After looking at Kyle's example of a review page I've decided that my theme is too dark and I want something cleaning and simple. And one that does not have a blog look to it like it does right now. Is changing the theme going to be a pain at this point?

I had to do a bit of research for the tax stuff. Its complicated and the only answers on WA are people with different opinions and from other countries. But I took a couple of the best guesses I could and then had to get a canadian tax number. Also made an account with payee which I think makes a US bank account that transfer to mine automatically. Hopefully, it works and I can get paid. Today I got an email saying "congrats you got paid!" But when I clicked on it the message read I got paid and the amount was $0. What was the point of that? IDK.....

Anyway, that has been a big thing plus a panic about the Amazon links not working after I did a feedback thing. The tutorial Kyle does on it does not seem to work for some people including me. It took all day and one frustrated nap but I think the links will work but hope they are actually going to pay if someone clicks on it as I had to do things differently.

Also, I feel like my website might be a little controversial and some affiliate programs might not want to accept my site. I got rejected from a couple in CJ but then I realized I hadn't done the profile. So that might have been it. idk. Trying not to be paranoid about that.

I am committed to trying to do an info article and a review a day except for today as I decided to write a top "ten survival movies of all time" post and am now watching movies hahaha. It's going to be a movie marathon for a couple of days at least..lol. "Alive" is #1 for me but I don't know. There are a lot of B movies out there.....

I hope you are doing well with your sites and have been mulling over an idea I have to connect my present site with the WA affiliate program,...or do another one completely, once I have finished the training as I feel like I want to keep learning about this stuff but I don't know....one site seems to be alot right now and I can't believe all the keywords for WA have not all been taken...

Also I am reluctant to put my image up on the internet as I have had times in the past where people have told me they have seen my picture when they googled me and I didn't even know someone else had taken a picture and tagged it. That really creeps me out. I am trying to think of a way to get around posting my personal picture online but I guess I eventually will if nothing happens with it. But I know I should be posting a photo. I am thinking of maybe making an anime avatar prepper for my profile pic hahaha

I've been putting a lot of time and effort into this but no traffic yet according to the google stats....

Look forward to talking more soon Scott. Let me know if you see anything else like link not working...etc...Thanks

scottdogg187 Premium
No problem at all Gordon!!

That's one of the reasons why I'm here cause I know first hand how hard it is when you're first starting out and I don't want to see you struggle like I did.

You can organize your site by making good use of categories within your posts. You'll find categories on the right of each post within the post editor.

You can assign posts to a certain category and add these to your menu as well.

Congrats on making it to level 3 of the training and it's great to hear that you have signed up for a few affiliate programs as well.

Why do you want to turn a post into a page? Posts are what you should be using the majority of the time. Pages should be reserved for general information about your site (ie: About me, privacy policy, affiliate disclaimer, terms, and conditions)

However, if you would still like to turn a post into a page you can install a plugin called Post Type Switcher.

go to your WP dashboard and navigate your mouse to plugins on your left and click on add new.

Type in post type switcher and this should be the first result.

Click install and then activate the plugin.

Changing your theme can be a real pain in the butt depending on how much different design you are switching over too and how complex your new theme is.

I know this from personal experience and this can really have a negative impact on your biz if you go about this the wrong way.

Since there isn't much content on your site just yet and you don't have any traffic yet then you should be able to do this without any repercussions.

For the tax stuff, I wouldn't even worry about that at this point. You can deal with this once you start earning enough money to file taxes.

Not sure why they would send you an email that says you got paid and when you open it there is nothing there.

Is this from an affiliate program you joined or a scam trying to lure you into their program?

Copying Amazon links should be a breeze now as they have shortened these for you if you're just looking for the basic version with no image attached.

All you would need to do with the ones that have an image attached to it is copy and paste the code into the text tab of your WordPress editor for whatever post you want to insert this into.

You only get paid if someone clicks your link and makes a qualified purchase. Adsense is where you get paid per click and it's pretty easy to get these 2 confused.

Affiliate programs wouldn't reject your site because its controversy as this could be a good thing.

However, some affiliate programs want you to have traffic coming to your site and a good amount of content before approving your application.

You can always reapply later once your site becomes populated with more content.

My sites are doing well and if you're interested in promoting WA I would suggest that you start out a separate site just for this.

Promoting WA on a site that's totally irrelevant will not only scare people away, it will also confuse the crap out of them.

If you aren't comfortable putting up an image of yourself just yet, that's fine but I would highly recommend you do this soon if you want to gain peoples trust and build any kind of relationship with your website visitors.

Without a picture, people will likely think that you're another internet guru looking to take their money and run.

I have had my picture online for close to 5 years now and haven't had any issues with it at all.

I'm glad you have been devoting some time to this and if you work hard at this it can and will pay off for you if you're persistent.

I hope you had an awesome weekend Gordon and I'll talk with you soon.

Hi Scott,
I've been waiting to reply until I could figure some of the stuff out and think a bit.

The categories are getting problematic and many. I want to get everything down to something simple like the 4 basics of survival shelter, water, food, fire or tempurature...cooling and reviews. But that is hard. As outlined in my essentials article which I want to be a kind of intro to the whole thing...(would that be a 'landing page'?)

Anyway, yes I can see how the pages should be left as you and kyle said. I was just trying to make a structure where I would have some general pages with no affiliate links but links to other articles or to review pages with affiliate links and have those be on the header as 'pages'

But I gave feedback on a recent site where she managed to somehow get the categories on the header. That is something I am working on now. I think it may take a plugin but maybe just on custom idk yet. What do you think of that?

Well I got a little email from ebay about 'how to double commisions traffic etc" And one of the articles had acool article by the "top SEO guy" in the world and he basically said everything we learn about here on WA! Which was pretty cool.

Anyway another article talked about "Google Rater Guidlines"

And this reminded me that I had seen an article a while back when all the Trump "fake news" thing was all over the media. And then there was a list of terms that were considered "unsubstantiated conspiracy theory" And an article about how this was censorship....I freaked out when I saw this because I even have a header with a term included on the list. Now I don't know how bad that will affect my rankings but I was thinking about contacting Kyle about it though you are the second person to tell me that it probably won't matter and maybe that's true IIDK....See my WA blog post for that conversation and when I kinda freaked out about it.

I don't think it's spam or anything since Payoneer was what was recommended on CJ for me to be able to get paid from US affiliate programs. It set up the US bank account that I can then get transferred to my personal account.

Maybe a glitch or maybe I did get some commission but it was so small that I had to pay them out first lol.

I have been having a hard time finding affiliates for some products, however, and one of these has been Tyvek.
The only place that carries what I want to promote only does Drop Shipping. I don't know anything about it other than you can do it through places like Shopify. Other than that do you know if it would be difficult to incorporate them into my affiliate website? What does that entail and how/where o I learn how to do pages and links for that for my site? If you have any previous experience with that please advise.

I have been thinking about doing the year thing but I want to hold off until I make some money even if payoneer calls and gives 10 cents I'll subscribe. I just don't know how long the 'deal' lasts.

In addition, they jsut informed me that I can get into this program to get a class 1 drivers license. Here in BC, that means I can drive anything like a tractor-trailer and buses etc. I really don't want to drive a truck for a living and can't imagine myself ever doing that but I thought I should since it is being paid for by an employment program out here and normally the thing costs thousands and thousands to get the training. So I thought what the hell, I might as well and it would be cool to have the number 1 on my license.

Anyway, that will be eating up my time a lot until Dec 22 when hopefully I can pass all the tests and drive one of those things. They haven't given me much time to get ready for the entrance exam and it looks....about as complicated as I always thought lol

So IDK. I may drop WA until Christmas then get going again, or try to fit in as much as I can. Though learning something as alien as an 18 wheeler might be taking all my available neurons.

If I was absolutely sure I could make a living from writing at WA I would but at this point, I have to go with what is available. I just saw ericCanto's blog post. He was so ecstatic about making $1000 this month from WA and I liked the post but really, I was a little disappointed, he wasn't making a complete living from it after doing it since January lol.

Even if I get the licence though . I doubt I am going to drive a truck and want to get on the WA thing if I can make a living from it....god that just isn't me haha. Have been flirting with the idea of not doing the class 1 course and just diving into this 100% but I'm trying to be practical. I'm told if worst comes to worse if you have a class one you can always get a job.

Oh man I totally forgot the most important question which was I am having problems getting adsense to work. I have a feeling it will be like the other things on Kyles tutorials that I have to do them a bit different somehow. I got approved for it, but the ad isn't showing up on my sidebar and I'm pretty confused about it in general. Any advice would be appreciated.

Have a look at my site now and let me know how you feel about the more 'simplified header with categories!

Hi Gordon,

I don't see how categories are hard for you because they are pretty simple when you sit down and think about it.

You would simply need to create these categories by going to your WP dashboard and navigating your mouse to posts on the left then clicking on categories.

Now look to your left and you should see something that says add a new category.

Add these categories here and save your work. Now in order to start adding your posts to these categories, simply select them from within your post editor when writing your new posts.

If you would rather use a landing page (Intro telling people about your site) you can do this by going into your reading settings within your WP dashboard and selecting a static page.

In the drop-down menu below, select the page you would like to use and press save changes.

When you say categories in the header, are you referring to your menu?

You can add categories to your menu without the need for a plugin.

To do this simply go into your WP dashboard and navigate to appearance, menus.

From there look to your left and you'll see where you can add categories to your menu here.

I just read about your freaked out by Fred article and the conversation you had with another member lol.

At this point in the game, you shouldn't even be worrying about these types of things. You will naturally start to get rankings as your website ages and gains more authority.

Dropshipping is a completely different business model and I know nothing about it. I think you're getting ahead of yourself and biting off more than you can chew.

I would suggest that you keep things simple and stick with affiliate marketing for now.

Once you start to learn more about this biz and how it works, you'll naturally want to incorporate these things into your website.

For now, stick to the K.I.S.S method (Keep It Simple)

The yearly discounted rate of $359 is available year round and there is no expiration date to get this deal.

However, with Black Friday coming up next month, WA runs a special discounted BF only price that's so low you can't afford to miss out on it.

This comes out to only $299 for the entire year and this only happens once a year. Kyle should be releasing more information about this once it gets closer to BF.

If you really don't wanna drive a truck then I wouldn't do it. Why do something you have no interest in doing just to get a paycheck?

I'm not trying to tell you what to do or nothing just stating my opinion about it. I can see what you're saying tho, if they're willing to pay for your training, then why not?

If you do decide to go for your class 1 license good luck man and I hope you do well and pass the tests.

If you would need to put your WA membership on hold for a while that's perfectly fine and you can do this in your account settings on the left.

It's 100% possible to earn a full-time living + some writing here at WA, but it's going to take you some time to get established and gain some authority in your niche.

It took me close to a year before I was able to quit my full-time job and go full time in the online world and it was worth every minute I put in here.

I can totally understand that you gotta do what you gotta do to pay the bills and put food on the table to feed your family.

If you truly are serious about this whole online thing and want to make it work out for you I would think you would want to give this as much time and effort that you can to make it work.

Ideally, this is entirely up to you whether you want to learn how to build a successful online business or become a truck driver.

I hope this helps man and please let me know what you decide to do and I'll talk with you soon

Hey Gordon,

It usually takes up to 24 hours for your ads to show up after you get approved.

I just took a peek at your website and I must say everything looks a whole lot better.

About the only thing, is that you haven't added your image to the top right of your about me page.

It looks like Adsense is working now and I'm glad you got these activated on your site.

I do like your simplified look and your proper use of categories.

Great Job!!

Wow man, $299 black Friday....I'll have to scramble for that if you are SURE there will be no better deals this year.... I might do it as I went to the first pre-class meeting at Extreme driving school and it's going to be about 4 hours a day and then some 8 hrs so I should be able to continue working on the site. I just don't know how much study I have to do after classes.

I may not even pass the learners permit I take on Tuesday as they didn't give me much time to study it, and if I don't pass then it really doesn't matter what I decide.

Thanks for the tips on categories. I sat down and focused on it a few days ago and got something I think will work for now. I appreciate the landing page idea and I'm going to work on that next as I've noticed I'm not getting over 60% bounce off the home page as it stands now so I don't know what is good or bad for that but I'd rather see it better.

I was able to figure out how to exclude my own landings on my website on google analytics today and that was a let down as my number minus me visiting plummetted to nothing lol.

I am pretty obsessed with writing all my articles right now and was thinking I might or maybe I should do a separate little site for water purification as it will be going on 4 articles I've written on that subject alone.

Ya I might need the cash and was hoping WA wouldn't take as long as it seems like people need like a year or several months. ericCantu has been doing this since January and is thrilled to be pulling $1000 a month? idk. Thats nice but it's not going to cut it for me know what I mean? lol

I have been trying to pump out one article or review a day but I can see how this might go down hopefully no more than to one every other day. It's frustrating though....feeling like no one is reading ...

I was thinking maybe I need to branch into separate smaller niche sites just to see if I can hit a niche that pays better. I'm having moments of lacking faith in this niche I've chosen or lacking faith in my writing or presentation somehow..... oh well... trying to be patient and let things mature as you said.

Anyway, yes I didn't want to do the drop shipping either as it seems like affiliate is a lot already and might involve a 'store' and maybe woocomerce that I hear everybody mention all the time which I have no idea what that is. there is a local meeting on it here in the next town over tomorrow posted on my WP dashboard so I might go check it out.

The problem is that I really want to promote this product line through 3M and there are a few really cool things I'd like to buy from them myself lol. Pretty critical to the site but I can't find and affiliates who do that. I'm finding that some of the products I want to promote don't do affiliate programs and that has been frustrating, although the 3M Tyvek distributors did call me back and said I would qualify to do drop shipping with them. (at least some people like my geoengineering articles lol)

the 3M tyvek would be a very cheap way for people to protect themselves against a lot of the effects of that and more....and go camping cheaply and effectively etc...

I am still waiting to see if adsense will click in. I got a message saying I got accepted or something but no ads are showing up and its been about a week. I also just figured out how to ad the code to my header so I don't know how I got approved before that happened haha.

Waiting on that ....or trying to figure more out...waiting on that before moving on to socail stuff...
Also I don't want to use my personal facebook and google plus etc...for selling stuff. I don't want things to get too cluttered especially if I start to branch to other sites ....Do people ever just make facebooks specifically for the websites on this thing? Do I have to use my personal social media stuff?

Anyway thats my update. Also thinking about promoting WA as it does seem like good pay back. Are you only doing WA affiliate program or are you doing other sites that amount being able to make a living?

Also how can so many people be doing this affiliate thing for WA and there still be enough keywords for everybody? Isn't the web probably just crawling with WA affiliate review sites by now? I know its working for people but how that s working I don't know...

Anyway, Thanks for your thoughtful response as usually I will work on the suggestions this weekend.

Your friend,

Yea dude, Black Friday is one of the best times of the year here at WA and I look forward to this each year.

There are NO other deals that even come close to the BF deal and this is the best time to lock in the most savings on their yearly membership.

It's great to hear that you have started classes for truck driving already. How are you doing with them so far?

I hope you do well on taking your learners permit tomorrow and keep me updated on your results.

You are most welcome Gordon and I'm glad these ideas have helped you out.

Actually, a 60% bounce rate is good. Anything under 75 is great and as you continue to write content and engage with your visitors this number will continue to go down.

Congrats on getting yourself excluded from Google Analytics. This will help measure your traffic more accurately.

If you wanted to do a separate site on water purification you definitely could but I wouldn't advise you to work on more than 1 site at a time as this will lead to burn out really quickly.

Yes, it can take quite a while before earning anything substantial from WA and this is why most people end up quitting.

They're usually looking for something that's get rich quick.

Once they find out there's work involved they bounce.

It took me a year before I was making enough to quit my full time job and do this full time and I faced many challenges when I first started.

Somehow I managed to pull through and I wouldn't trade this job for anything out there.

Great job on pumping out some content and trying to do a review a day. Since you're first starting out, you shouldn't even be thinking about people reading just yet.

It's going to take you quite some time to build an audience and get your website established so try not to be in a hurry.

The best advise I can possibly give you is to keep it simple and narrow your niche down to a specified group of targeted people.

I know exactly how you must feel about lacking faith as I was like this when I first joined as well. The thought of building a website for the entire world to see was daunting to me.

However, I simply went through the training and took action on what I learned. If I can do this, then I know that you can Gordon and I'll be here to help you every step of the way.

You could definitely promote the products from 3M if you wanted, have you checked for these products on Amazon?

I'm sure they're probably on there if you can't find them anywhere else.

Your ads are working when I was visiting your website. Are you still not able to see them?

You should create a separate FB business page for promoting your business on as this will make you seem a whole lot more professional and people will take you seriously.

No, you won't have to use your personal social media info so don't worry about this.

I'm doing the WA affiliate boot camp and earning commissions from several other affiliate programs as well.

I'm always looking to branch out and earn as much money as I possibly can. That's the beauty of this business, you can create multiple unlimited income streams from just 1 website.

That's what I'm currently doing right now and I have earned money in multiple niches.

Keywords are unlimited and there are plenty of rankings to go around for everyone if they're willing to work for them.

Due to the Make Money Online niche being so competitive you'll need to blog about every day to have a chance to earn any type of income in this niche.

There is definitely lots of money to be made here and my paychecks are always nice.

I really hope this helps you out Gordon and please let me know if you have any other questions or need my help.

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".

I know, same thing happened to me when I started.

I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.

Get back to me when you get the chance! :)
