Delayed? OK. Defeated? No way!
Yes I'm delayed, in month one of the Super Affiliate Challenge. Have I failed? Certainly not. I haven't even considered quitting. What I've done is prove to myself that, even faced with aggressive challenges I don't give up.
I apply the Ram's tactic
Instead I apply the Ram's tactic. What's that? you wonder. A ram will back up a number of step and then lower its head and charge at full speed. The result is often devastating for anyone or anything standing in his way. If the first charge doesn't accomplish his aim, to clear the the way, the second or third likely will.
Let's take a look at these stumbling blocks.
I'm constantly broke, due to mounting hospital bills for my terminally I'll mother in law. Doing all my writing on a smartphone, using my index finger only. Much of my time and energy goes to comforting my wife, who's in Tanzania, nursing her dying mother.
I'm stuck in a hostel in Madeira (broke remember) with no privacy and constant distractions. I'm tech challenged and get bogged down every day, trying to solve a tech issue.
Imagine what I'll be able to do, once these stumbling blocks have been cleared!

Thanks for the encouragement Fran. Yes I will stay strong and things WILL no doubt improve. When they do I'll hit the ground running.
That's quite a story, Goran.
I'm sorry to hear the situation you're facing right now.
But, I have to say, your determination is inspiring.
I hope you soon overcome all those blocks.
You and your family will be in my prayers.
All the best,
Eliane
Wow you have certainly some serious stumbling blocks to jump. But through all of this it shows your true strength and determination. I admire you keep it up you are doing great.
Thanks for sympathising Melissa. I do believe you're right. It may not very apparent at a glance, but there is a core of Granite deep inside me.
Knowing that is worth all the frustrations and more to come. I shall Prevail, and may the same be true for all my WA family members. You are all a constant source of strength!
Thanks Mike. I know I WILL. Who was it that said, referring to callenges: If it doesn't kill you it will make you stronger! Was it Mark Twain?
Hi Goran
Tha sounds difficult! Sorry to hear about the mother in law, that is stressful for you and your wife. I have done most of my work on an iPhone and even this reply in on the phone, it’s not ideal!
I wish you some peace and relaxation at some point, keep up the determined attitude! Thanks for sharing your post!
Take care
Wayne
Thanks Wayne. Yes it's stressful at times but I look at it as mental workout that will build mental muscle. Well I'm making light of it now. It's frustrating but it's making me stronger.
I am so sorry to hear about the situation you are in.
You hit on an important point. You're in the middle of a major challenge in your life but you are still working through it and are there for your family; but you can see a better future when things will improve and you have hope.
That's encouraging.
Rick
That's exactly right Rick. That's why I'm encouraged rather than discouraged. I'll come out stronger because of these challenges.
Thanks Rosita. I do believe it will. May take longer than I wish but happen it will. If need be I'll repeat the Rams charge lol
You are doing so much with so little! You will indeed be amazing once some of these challenges get resolved. Hang in there!
Can you maybe get a pad of paper to write out your posts first? They will be much easier to proof and correct that way.
I sometimes do the p&p thing but often a faster way is to write a Google doc and then copy-paste the article. Thanks Jeanine!
