I grab every opportunity that comes my way. Even if it seems too good to be true.”
A reporter once interviewed a billionaire on her show. She wanted to know how the billionaire got so rich, so she asked him the secret to his massive wealth.
The billionaire told the reporter, “I’ll answer your question, but first of all, here is a blank check. You can put in it whatever amount you want.”
The reporter flushed red, looking offended. She thought that the billionaire was messing with her, so she returned the check to him.
Again, the billionaire handed her the check and told her the same thing. “Put in it whatever amount you want, and I’ll make sure the bank gives it to you.”
The reporter, now looking upset, gave the billionaire back his check. For the third time, the billionaire gave the reporter the check, and for the last time, the reporter refused. Fed up with the antics, the reporter said, “Stop trying to make a fool of me!”
Finally, the billionaire said, “I am not. I am giving you an opportunity. I told you to put in any amount you want, but instead, you chose to think negative things about me instead of grabbing the opportunity. This is the secret to my wealth — I grab every opportunity that comes my way. Even if it seems too good to be true.”
I thank God we all accepted the opportunity of being a WA. Have a great week my friends.

A great analogy, Godstrong, but I feel many of us might be like that reporter! My Grandmother always told me that if anything seemed to good to be true, it probably was!
Thought-provoking indeed though!

When you've been scammed enough, this seems very true, Jeff.
Fool my once, shame on you! Twice, shame on ME!

I love what you and Jeff are dishing out here. I think I understand the analogy ma, once bitten by the bee, always run away on the sound of the fly. It calls for carefulness and vigilance.
You must have missed the huge
opportunity of the lifetime because
you rejected it.
It seems that we do have the same
post. Beautiful.

That reminds me of my hospital volunteer job! I was asked and reaped awesome life rewards, further on.

So now, you can actually say
that it was well worth it because
you had the experience rather
than rejecting it right away.
Good for you, Barb.
Blessings.

Yes, Elizabeth!
I took the risk, and what a reward.
"Where He leads, He provides" ;)
Have very blessed day, Elizabeth!
