You can check theme compatibility with Woocommerce by doing a browser search -> Is theme name compatible with Woocommerce
We like to use ASTRA the free version.
To check it out Astra free wordpress theme demo.
Astra is very customizable, fast and compatible with Woocommeece
Thank you for the feedback. I understand from raising this question outside Wealthy Affiliate that there are quite a few themes that are "compatible with WooCommerce", but are barely compatible. I will have a look at Astra.
some will say divi is good others will say divi is an overload to slow down your site... ( i'm of the latter but never used divi - used elementor)
if you are not interested in organic rankings then a page builder will help create the site you want...
depending on whether you know html and css a bit you may want to look at oxygenbuilder as a more lightweight builder...( but steep learning curve)
or look at kadence theme and woo commerce...
i take it the fees on etsy have changed
i know the feeling ....
had a look at online shop theme( not the pro version) in wordpress.org and the number of downloads is very low - and last update was jan 2022...now 6 months ago...is it a high priority theme, not really...
just for info there is a little carat to the upper right of the replies and you can edit your replies....
Thank you for the feedback. The January 2022 last update was my main concern with the Online Shop theme

GeneratePress premium has may themes, two or three are ecommerce ready.
You want to make sure they are responsive, extremely light, fast, well coded, SEO optimised, flexible, adaptable and customisable

Can somebody please guide me in removing Adsense ads which get placed within comments? I use the Ad Inserter plugin and would like to only allow ads within the header, side bar
If you must be in control of the Ads displayed on your site and where you want to stay, then log in your AdSense account and switch away from Auto Ads and that settles it. Thanks for the post!
You'll want to remove the original code you placed in the header and don't use Auto Ads if you want to control where the ads appear.
Thanks Marion. I just used the defaults so will go back and check the documentation more thoroughly. Happy New Year and all the best for 2019, Gary
The problem is not with the plugin, Gary, it's with the code that's NOT in the plugin. The code you used to get approved enables page level ads and Auto ads use the same code. Page level ads put Adsense in control of where the ads appear. Easy Adsense Ads with Ad Inserter Plugin Create your own text and image ad at Adsense and use the code for that in the plugin.
I’d remove the auto place code and use ad blocks with the Ad Inserter plugin for total control.
Thanks. BTW I really like that plugin. It can even replace Headers and Footers as it has the ability to edit them as well.
