Integrate Your Email Sequences with Wealthy Affiliate
If you have chosen to promote Wealthy Affiliate as your path of training at some point you are going to learn or want to learn about using email marketing to keep more eyes on your offer (Wealthy Affiliate).
Why Use Email Marketing?
Wealthy Affiliate already has a system of email messaging that goes out on your behalf. That is good. But what if you are driving traffic to your website? Your goal is to get people to click on a banner or link that takes them to your sign up page. That is how we get people to sign up right?
So here is the truth it takes 6 to 10 exposures to get someone to finally sign up or purchase your offer. This is a proven statistic no one knows exactly how many exposures because there are so many variables. But let's just say that most are not going to take action on the first visit
Email Marketing allows you to get them in front of your offer over and over. This greatly increases your odds of getting a prospect to become a member.
What's an Email Autoresponder
For those of you that are totally new to Affiliate Marketing or any type of marketing I'm going to give a quick description of the email autoresponder which is the tool you will need to do automated follow-ups. Aweber, GetResponse, and MailChimp are examples.
Basically the autoresponder is a service that allows you to add people to your lists which you create within the autoresponder service. It then has options where you can automatically on a set number of days send out an email. You create the email once and it is used for every sign up. And goes out in a sequence.
There are usually many more options available but in a nutshell you will have someone sign up on your website and they will be added to your list where you can share with them over and over.
This gives you the chance to put them in front of wealthy affiliate many times. This greatly increases your odds of getting them to become a member.
The Wrong Way to Use Email Marketing
We have all been on peoples email lists where they continually bombard of with offers over and over again. Let me ask you, What do you usually do? Right you opt out, because you get tired of being sent offers to things that were not relevant to why you originally signed up.

Oh, Then What's the Right Why?
You see we have all be tainted by the above wrong way to do email marketing and for that reason in general most will not want to use it at all.
The Right Way
People will enjoy and look forward to your emails if you are providing content that matches the original intent of signing up in the first place.
So a good way to get sign ups is to offer a training or a newsletter.
Again where this goes wrong is that most affiliate systems have just one page for entrance into the system. So you are continually sending them back to that one page sign up with each lesson.
Boring!

What if you could make a seamless transition from your email marketing campaign never sending your prospect to the same old landing page to sign up. What if it didn't even ask them to sign up. Wouldn't that be the perfect way to keep your prospects entertained? By learning?

So the beautiful thing with Wealthy Affiliate is that every piece of content that we or anybody on the site writes has an affiliate link with your affiliate id in it.
So let me ask you a question. How many of you here love the content we get every day from members of Wealthy Affiliate. Does it make you want to remain here to learn and grow your business?
Most of you are nodding yes!
So then if we create our email sequences to cover content that we ourselves or others create right here on Wealthy Affiliate using our own affiliate link as the link in the email sequence. Then we are offering great content. Sending them to a place that sells itself. If someone signs up you have a new member.
No sending to the landing page over and over. Send them to good engaging content and let them decide to sign up. The more great content you send them to right here on WA the more they are going to like it and sign up.
In Conclusion
Even if you have hated the thought of email marketing and said you would never do it (I did) this gives you a fresh new approach on how to do it and to do it the right way. Offering people good engaging content and not trying to sell.
Getting them in front of your offer over an over. Your prospects will love you for it and you will have members signing up, because this is the best place to learn Affiliate Marketing.
I have personally taken a new approach. One that I love! That is to help as many people as I can to learn Affiliate Marketing. I have the perfect place. Wealthy Affiliate. It's easy for me to send people here to learn.

I personally use Aweber they have been around a very long time are easy to use but other good ones are MailChimp and GetResponse.
There are some others new and I've heard good reviews. SendGrid is one.
The most important thing is to look at the deliverability of the service. They should list it somewhere on the site. There is no need to send emails if they don't get delivered.
Most will cost you 19.95 a month to start but increases as your list does.
Every business has business costs and this is one of them for me.

Like you, we have been resistant to email campaigns. However, we have started Bootcamp training now. We are not yet at the lesson on emails, but from what you write above, it is a different approach that will be more appealing and engaging to people.

I intend on doing a training on this topic with example follow ups and how to setup and do this in Aweber.
I use Aweber because it was the only one around when I started but I'm so used to it that I don't want to change.
It should be fairly easy to take what I teach to any other autoresponder system.
I hate email marketing but after studying some of the successful marketers here on WA I uncovered this method and I love it.
Steve (Ivetriedthat here on WA) gets the credit for the idea. It was too good not to share.
