Have You Started A Business Before Or Is This Your First Rodeo?

For me, it's my first rodeo.

I've dabbled at starting a business before, but mostly that's what I did. I dabbled. So that doesn't count.

We all believe that there will come a time when we can earn a "full-time income" or more, while working "part-time" or less.

That time is not now. Well, probably for some of the old-timers here at Wealthy Affiliate it is, but for those of us starting out, it's not. We can't work part-time at the beginning.

If we do, we're treating our businesses like they're our hobbies.

Bad idea!

Now is not the time to relax!

Any business has to be built up, and building a business requires hard, consistent, and persistent work, usually for at least two years.

If you're not committed to giving it your all for two years, Then change your mindset.

Here are a couple of questions to ponder.

• Do you know what your business is?
  
• Do you know where your business is at right now?
• Do you know what your business is going to be by the end of the year?
• By 2 years from now?

After nine months of "fairly" consistent work, I have decided that it's time to ramp up the process. I've been accepted into the SWAG program, and it has made me realize that I've been wasting time in "hobby" mode.

I've switched to "business" mode.

I'm working towards SUCCESS! And towards that time when I can earn that full-time income with part-time effort.
