For those of you who know Wayne Towns
Last Update: Mar 17, 2019
I am sure many of you will have worked and exchanged conversations with the lovely Wayne.
As both Wayne and myself have not been active on WA in the last few months, some of you may already be aware, and this may come to you as old news. But for those of you who, like me, learned the sad news this morning, I would like to report that sadly Wayne lost his life this week in a tragic car crash in Dallas.
Like me, Wayne had recently also joined another venture, a network marketing company, where we are blessed by being trained hand in hand by the very expert and experienced Bo Tipton, also from WA.
It was during these daily online webinars that I got to know Wayne for the gentleman that he was, and for his great sense of humour and for his resilience to life adversities, when he had to battle his health issues.
The shock of the sudden news is slowly sinking in, since I was told this morning. I last spoke to Wayne during our last webinar 10 days ago, before I travelled. And now ... he's not there anymore. I dread to think what his wife and family must be going through.
I feel honoured and blessed to have been able to work with Wayne closely in the last few months. I feel honoured and blessed that he could call me his colleague and friend.
Wayne will be missed sorely by all those that knew him. I am sure you will want to join me in praying and sending our love to his family.
P.S. Here's the news as it was reported in the Dallas News paper: https://www.dallasnews.com/news/crime/2019/03/13/2-hospitali...
So sorry for your loss
Our real reward is in heaven
I did not have the chance and honour to meet him but in the Wa Community there are so many nice nice real people. My heart and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
Thank you ever so much, Barbara, I am hoping his family gets to read all this wonderful comments. I shall ensure they receive them xxx
So Sorry, to bad it wasn't the person in the get away car instead.
Would you believe it, I couldn't even read the article as I am not based in US. But yes, I have been told. I can't even begin to imagine the shock and the pain his family must endure at this time xxx
That is so sad, Giulia:( Wow, I am in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex just about everyday for business. That hits kind of close to home:(. I feel so bad for him and his family. Prayers for his his family. Thank you for sharing:)
Thank you ever so much, Suzi. And ... nice to speak to you again through such not very nice circumstances xxx
I am sorry for the loss of your friend.
Unfortunately, I did not have the pleasure of knowing Wayne, but his loss still will be felt.
Giulia, I recognize Wayne's picture, but I never really had the opportunity to get to know him. I feel very sad about this tragedy.
My heart and prayers go out to all of his family and friends. You included.
Life is so short....
From time to time, I have wondered what Bo Tipton was up to. I'm glad he is doing well and still helping people.
Best wishes in all that you do.
Thank you ever so much Sondra. And you are right, life is definitely soooo short. This news of Wayne's sudden and premature departure has hit us all hard, and for sure has made us realise how we should make the most of each and every moment, without wasting it in petty unimportant things xxx
Bo is still as wonderful as ever. He's a born giver ... giver of knowledge, wisdom and positive energy :)
It is very sad to hear of Wayne's passing. He will be missed here in the WA community.
Condolences and prayers for his family and friends.
