I definitely would wait before registering; I read someone else's post who is trying to work with Amazon and she couldn't because in US state she lives in, amazon is banned, so I would hold off and maybe PM someone who knows for sure
Best of Luck
Thanks baietti, i'll be watching on this discussion and if i don't get some answers i'll move to PMs

Amazon affiliates + Europe + commissions
Hello all.
I tried to register as an affiliate of Amazon here
Hey Giorgos. You shouldn't have a problem with registering with Amazon as an affiliate in Greece. However, although Amazon is sympathetic to newcomers, most affiliate programs won't approve "bare" sites, so make sure you're at the stage in the training where it recommends you affiliate. You can "localise" the various Amazon country programs following this training, https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/using-the-amazon-link-localizer :) Rich.

Hello all,
I am on course 3 lesson 2 and now i have to join at least one affiliate network and at least 2 affiliate programs. The problem is that my first and only site (t
Giorgos, the possibilities are endless as to how you can monetize your site without distracting your site visitors from your main affiliate program at WorldVentures.
Do you qualify for Amazon? You could search for travel-related products on the Amazon site.
I suggest you visit similar sites in the industry and see if you can pick up some ideas from them.
Couple of things about your site - I found the red background color overwhelming and difficult to look at. Maybe it is just me. I love red, but not hot red as a background...lol.
You will need to spell check and proof read your copy, or have someone do so for your grammar, language and syntax.
I agree with Digital Ink, it is not a "review" yet, more of a promotions page. You can either remove the word "review", or reshape it into a proper review, or better still add a separate "Review" page.
Overall, you are on the right track, so keep learning, tweaking, and you will get there.

Thanks for the tips Jude. Do i have a red backround!!!!?? I can't see it...i'll check it again. The review is written just to show people how this travel club works and it links to the next page.... but i can see what you mean. Do i really have a red backround??? lol i don't know why i can't see it....
It shows up as a red background in my Firefox browser, but okay in IE browser, so not sure what's up. I took a screen capture here. Not sure what color you will see on your screen:

Here's a free browser checker tool you can try:
http://browsershots.org/
Don't leave all the boxes ticked, just check the last 2 versions of the main
browsers for each operating system, check against 8 or 10 browsers.
It's a pain to un-delete those check boxes, but worth it in the end not to have so many.
I tried running it for you, but your site is down at the moment, maybe you are working on it.
~Jude
Jude my site is up and running. I had a couple of pages "saved draft" but now i published them just in case that was why my site seemed down at the moment. I tried the browsershots tool and i had this answer "Sorry, we do not accept adult or gambling sites to be tested on our screenshot factories run by volunteers." I am at a dead end here and i am sooo frustrated and mostly disappointed. I am an inch away from leaving all this behind....this is not a good day for me
Giorgos, I understand your frustration, but please find the strength not to let a few stumbling blocks cause you to quit. It is a learning curve, that's all, and glitches happen all the time online.
I heard later that WA hosting was having a few issues, so it is possible that a few weird things were happening with your site that were outside your control.
I am happy to report that the red background has disappeared and your site looks fine now.
As for that browser compatibility site, forget about it. Their artificial intelligence is dumb! They have put a perfectly beautiful word like "prosperity" on their ban list. I wouldn't give that another thought.
Don't give up! ~Jude
After viewing your site, I would suggest dropping the word review. It is not written as a review but rather as a sales page. Nothing wrong with that but you are direct selling, not writing a review really.
It's suggested, but you don't HAVE to join an affiliate program. Just check that you did and you move on to the next lesson. But WA IS affiliate marketing. You need some way to monetize your site. But you don't have to do it through affiliate marketing.
definitely you could promote luggage, you also may want to consider travel insurance, and possibly look for a way to promote actual vacation promotions or vacations..this has a large possibility!!! Best of luck to you..I'll look your site up when I'm ready for a getaway :)
For sure you can promote suit cases and luggage because your niche is about travel. But you can also recommend places where they can buy a cheap flight or hotels to stay or tours...Nenita

can do a Greek, English, Spanish, Italian multilingual website translating every page, post etc by myself, but i wonder how can i SEO it? Does the SEO plugin work with different
Hi Giorgos, I see this post is quite old now, so I'm wondering, did you go ahead with a multilingual site? I've always been set on doing a bilingual site with English and Spanish, and have written all my own content in both languages, and am hoping to target specific products for each audience, but so far it's proving a lot more complicated than I'd expected just with two languages. As such, I'm not getting very far.
I don't know if bilingual would work or not. I know myself if i want to read a foreign page or article, I use a free translator program. There are some free ones you can download to translate any language. You simply open the program select the page and it translates into whatever language you choose.
Interesting question. I've toyed with the idea myself, but I never followed through with it. I'm looking forward to reading other comments on this.
I'd like to hear some pros and cons here. I am a newbie and i can't even imagine where the traps are around this multilingual path. The only bad thing i can thing of is that if you are not 100% fluent on e.g Russian, it would be quite difficult to reply to Russian emails on daily basis. How great would it be if someone could speak English, Spanish, Russian and Chinese fluently enough? That would be 80% of globes internet users.
