Status Quo And Looking Forward
Hi everyone! This is my first blog post within Wealthy Affiliate and I'm going to give a short update on my progress and what my future goals are. Having written thousands of words about topics within my niche, it's still a bit unreal that my knowledge has turned into content that may help or mean something valuable to people. It's amazing what forty days of training and encouragement can accomplish, and I'm so excited about where this leads.
Time has gone incredibly fast and I've achieved very much in this short period of time. I have a niche, my own website and I've created five posts where two of them have already been indexed by Google. I have also gained new knowledge about website creation, affiliate marketing and keyword-rich content. To me, WA is like an oasis of knowledge and expertise with wonderful people just waiting to help. The bonus is that I can practice my English skills constructively, which was about time...
My niche is within music, that is musical instruments, musical education and tutorials. I think it is a niche that can be developed in many directions and is also quite suitable for affiliate marketing. There will always be music in the world, and lots of people would like to play a musical instrument themselves, and many need help in doing that.
My plans for the next 3 months are to further develop my website and create keyword-rich quality content that hopefully gains traffic. Furthermore, I will search for profitable and reliable affiliate programs on musical instruments and musical education. These are my main goals in the near future. If I look 6 months ahead, I'll definitely continue to blog within my niche and if things go well, maybe I'll start thinking about creating a new website with another perspective within the same niche.
It's great getting to the end of training level 2 and with just a few tasks to do before moving on to the next level. I am very excited about learning how to make money on my website and understanding affiliate programs. Hopefully this will be even more rewarding than the previous levels, if possible...

As par your niche is a very good one, make sure you diligently go through the training one after the other for you to have understanding of the whole thing.

Sounds like you're on a roll Geir. How are your SERPs? Do you have any Google page 1 positions yet? Just keep posting ... SEO is all about content posting frequency.

Totally agree, this is a niche that you can do SO MUCH with! And everybody teach / explain music a little bit differently - therefore there is space for everybody.
Do you have any hints of how to keep the dust off of a shiny black Baby Grand Piano? [roll eyes] I am having the suspicion that mine is extremely static, since I dusts it about 3 times a day. Anti-static wipes helps a little bit. But if you happen to know of something, I would love to try it!
