One Week On WA

It has officially been one week since I signed up for Premium. It went by quickly, but that's okay, because I've been really pushing it!

While I know it's not likely that I'll make any money before the 3 month mark, the content and structure has to be there first, right? So I've been working my butt off on Manifesting Mojo and trying not to doubt myself. Sometimes I think I've chosen a niche that is just too big and general. And maybe I have, but I guess I'm going to go full on with it, heh.

What I've Learned

The training here is amazing. I've been blogging since 2007 and I've worked on a lot of sites since then. I even made some good affiliate money back when Squidoo was a thing. So it's not like I'm a total newbie.

That being said, I was obviously missing something and so I'm working through the training bit by bit, to make sure I get it all. I'm following all the steps.

So, what am I learning? A lot! There are so many things you miss when you're self-taught.

First, I've learned more than I knew about Google ranking and SEO. As a writer, that's saying a lot.

Second, I've learned more about how to structure my blog posts and how to do reviews. These are things I've done before, but there are always better ways to do them.

Third, I've been following a lot of people here (feel free to follow me! I'm always up for new friends) and have discovered that my original plan to stay focused seems to be the only way to be successful.

I've also learned more about the timeline for success. Most people appear to be earning once they hit 50-100 posts and after several months. That's a good goal to shoot for, in my mind. I am aiming to complete a minimum of 50 posts on my site by the end of October.

Accomplishments So Far

At this point, I've hit 23,522 in WA ranking, which is neat. I've also:

• Built 3 sites
  
• Written 12,570 words on my sites
• Published 20 articles
• Created a social media presence on multiple platforms
• Built my network to 156 connections
• Completed half the training

So, not tons, but I'm getting there.

Going Forward

In addition to working on Manifesting Mojo, I also have some outside sites that were started long ago that I'm applying the teaching to. These sites are secondary, as my site here is the one I'm using to follow step by step with the training. However, I anticipate those websites moving up in the rankings, as well.

I'm also keeping a sort of journal and to-do list on Watch Me Succeed (see the links in the lower right). I update daily on my progress there, so if you want to see exactly what I'm doing, you can take a peek there. It's not that exciting yet, but eventually, I intend to build it out with more informative articles, too.

Will I Continue with WA?

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is, DEFINITELY yes. I'm learning a ton here and while it might be a bit of a stretch to pay the $50 each month, it's worth it. It just means I need to take on an extra article each month for my writing clients.
