Wealthy Affiliate First Month
Today marks my one month birthday here at Wealthy Affiliate (woo hoo!) and what a time it's been. I thought I would just bookmark a few of my progress points over that time in the hope that:
a) I can look back in the future and remember where I started, and
b) to help anyone else who might be interested in how others get on here at WA. I know everyone works at their own pace, but I am certainly finding it useful to see how others are getting on and what can be achieved in a certain amount of time.
I chose the premium membership from day one as I wanted to get started asap.
So here goes:
WEBSITE ACHIEVEMENTS
- I have 2 sites up and running under their own domain name with corresponding email addresses and both have been indexed in Google
- Between these 2 sites, I have posted 10 pages, 16 posts and have 82 approved comments (including my replies to comments left).
- I have Adsense running on one of my sites and affiliate links to Amazon, plus other individual affiliate programs and links through clickbank and shareasale on both of them too.
- I have set up my Google+ account and have published my posts on there as well
- I have emailed my FaceBook friends telling them about one of my sites and got 36 likes and 2 shares.
- I have a steady, (if fluctuating) flow of traffic to my sites and have set up Google Analytics and Google Search Console (linked together now) to monitor users.

WEALTHY AFFILIATE ACHIEVEMENTS
- I have made loads of new friends and try to keep up to date with their latest posts online.
- I have learned LOADS and am continually excited about the possibilities here.
- I have completed course 1 and 2 and am half way through course 3.
- I have written 18 WA blogs and posted 20 questions.
- i have given feedback on websites and all left lots of comments.
- I have tried to follow the pay-it-forward ethos and am currently ranked no. 82.
WHAT'S NEXT? MY NEW GOALS
Firstly l am really proud of what I have achieved online so far. I admit I am a bit of a workaholic ("A BIT?!!!" I hear my mother shouting in my head) but the truth is, I love what I do and I'm passionate about it. I'm also a single mum, work 3 days a week in a secondary school and run a part-time performing arts school in the evenings and on Saturday mornings and we have a show coming up on Nov 5th that we are working towards. In my world, if you don't love what you're doing, then it's time to stop and do something else!
Secondly, I am setting myself some goals for the next month and therefore making myself accountable online for my progress.
GOALS: So here are my goals until 19th Nov 2017:
1. To add another 20 posts/pages to my sites using good keywords
2. To add more monetising to my second site in the form of Adsense and more affiliate marketing links
3. To make at least £0.01 from any online source.
4. To get a third site up and running which will have my own products on it. I write poetry and sell personalised versions on eBay currently but would like my own shop site too.
5. To continue to use the pay-it-forward ethos and connect with people online at WA in a positive and inspiring way.
I also need to get successfully through my show and spend some lovely time with my gorgeous girls over half term (next week) and go trick or treating with them for halloween!
I realise that we have to be in it for the long term here, but I also have some medium and longer term goals in mind too looking forward 6 months and 5 years!
A WORD OF CAUTION
No. 1 - I have had quite a few late nights in the last month and am finding WA quite addictive. But then I am a driven person and want to make this work for myself and my family. And I am loving it so that's good, however, I also recognise the need to look after myself and go to bed on time!
No. 2 - if you spend too much time staring at a computer, TV or electronic screen, this is what can happen! Don't say you weren't warned!

I have just gone through your page and it was really wonderful with avalanche of information about LOA and tapping solution which I was introduced to 3 to 4 years ago and practicing them religiously for over 3 years now with surprise benefits. congrat Gaillowe and keep walking the work.

Hey Gail, I love your passion for what you do. It's infectious. You achieved so much in a month. Thanks for sharing. I picked up a few pointers and will try it out on my website such as Adsense. I have been hearing so much about it. Just need to get to the training and learn how to do it proper.
