Anyone Want A Dose of Happy Today?
Today is May 1st and it's still unseasonably cool here in Southwestern Ontario. The robins are waking me up in the mornings though and the flowers and trees are just waiting for a nice dose of warm sunshine before they burst open with all their beauty.
As I write this it's cloudy and raining and foggy and +7C....and so...rather than letting this weather dictate my mood for the day, I'm gonna groove to this video (actually, I already have...a few times!) and instantly revel in the joy of...well....joy!
We're in charge of how we feel, despite how often we like to blame it on outside circumstances...including people, places, situations, weather, or anything that is not living up to our expectations of how things should be. Ha! Without exception, it's never about what's going on on the outside.
So if you're feelin' a little frustrated about writing or lessons or SEO or Google rankings, or money or work or love or life - then this one's for you.

Thank you so much, Heather! What you say is to true. In fact, sometimes when it is pouring rain outside, I feel so inspired. I am trying to give myself at least 10 minutes every morning to be quiet inside, focus and remind myself of my goals. I create my own positive affirmations, and it really helps. These days, I feel so overwhelmed with every aspect of my life, but for all of us-- life is one moment at a time. With every breath we take, we have the power to redirect our energy. :)

What's hysterical, Hal is that people would buy the stuff in droves...actually spend money on a bottle of happiness...and yet..we already have that bottle of happiness within...never to be bought or sold...only to be discovered. Crazy isn't it?
