Lets Go Fishing!
I got a wonderful compliment from someone in my network who comented on my last Blog entitled "Turn Your Passion Into Profits" She said (I'm gonna be awesome at this). well of course I sent sent her a nice thank you reply but it got me to thinking. What we are doing here at WA is a lot like fishing. I love fishing (freshwater mostly). In fact I might make fishing one of my niches.
So how is this like fishing? Here is my analagy. The internet is my lake that I am going fishing in. WA (Premium Membership) is my fishing rod & tackle box. For those of you that don't fish, a tackle box is a case with a handle that fisherman keep all their tools, lures or bait to catch fish with. WA is much like a fishing rod & tackle box. Here we have all the tools & training we need to go fishing. Your niche is your favorite bait or lure in the tackle box. It's that one tried & true lure you reach for all the time because you know how to use it & you know it produces fish. Your target audience are the fish you are hoping to catch.
So now you know where your lake is = (the internet). You got your Fishing rod & tackle box = WA Premium Membership (Tools & Training). You got yout niche = favorite bait. Lastly you know who your target audience is = THE FISH! Are you ready to go fishing? Sure you are!!!! Wait a minute what if the fish arent biting? Ruuh Row!!!!! Houston we have a problem!!!!! Sometimes the fish Aren't bitting eventhough I know the lake has fish in it & I know my Fishing rod has caught many of fish & my tried & true bait has produced tons of fish in the past. Do I call it a day? Heck no!!!!!
There are other deciding factors that go into successful fishing maybe it's the water temperature, maybe you are using a top water bait noy knowing the fish are down deep today. Could be the color of your bait etc. I could go on & on with different scenarios why I'm fishing but not catching any fish. Back to the tackle box I go to change the bait and try that one for awhile. The point I'm making is don't give up!!!!! remember fishing is supposed to be relaxing. Keep fishing.
Try Different Things
You got 25 websites or niches you can create as a Premium Member. Maybe you need more content or better keywords. perhaps your website is too hard to navigate so tweek it. Could be trends have changed & your nich may be obsolete. I know one thing for sure there are just as many niches as ther are fishing lures. so dont be afraid to change bait. dont look at it as a waist of time. lookat it as a learning experience. with practice and some help from your fellow WA fishermen & women. you will get better & better leads to more fish. once you become an expert. The fish will be jumping in the boat. WOOOO HOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
