Helpless But Not Hopeless
I am trying to figure out what I'm doing. Being new to building websites, I keep getting lost in trying to figure out what goes where and actually, I don't even know what the "what" is. Can I get any suggestions to steer me on the right path, please.
I want to do this so much, I'm willing to do what I have to do with an open mind, but for some reason I'm experiencing brain blockage or something??? It's frustrating to me, because it seems like it's right in front of me, I can taste it, but when I pick up my fork to take a bite, it vanishes from my sight. I know I've got what it takes to do this, I don't know why my ideas are not coming to me so naturally the way they always have?
Is this going to last forever? I really hope not. I should be up and running already, But, I can't figure out what niche excites me. I know Kyle and Carson say "don't let yourself get stuck", I'm trying not to be stuck, but I am. What do I do? How can I get over this brick wall that stands before me? Right now I'm helpless, but not hopeless.

Hi Francine, try not to get frustrated. I know that is far from easy but going slow and steady is not a bad principle. I say that because when you go slower at learning, you take in more.. Remember more. That can't be a bad thing. Just keep doing what you're doing and eventually it'll stick.

Oh please! You don't look to old to learn. But then I don't ever think anyone is too old to learn. For instance, my Gram just turned 100 and she's still taking a class at her senior center! She's always been my inspiration. If you click on the blue text under KatieMac, I think that training will give you some help. There is also a training on ways to break writer's block. Would you like me to find that or would that overwhelm you? I don't want to throw too much at you at once. Just let me know.

I agree with mac01 If you go to work in the bootcamp program and produce a WA affiliate site you can work on without getting bogged down on niche picking (I almost did this but had a direction I wanted to go). You will get a site built and learn easier because you can do each lesson as you learn it. You can think about niches while you learn and then when you're ready to start niche site the technology will be easier from having done it once already. Just my thoughts may or may not work for you..........

Hi Francine, don't despair !! your not the only one ! The same thing happened to me. What I did was look around at other peoples web sites.......its easy just take your time and write things down on some paper. Then the ideas will start to flow !! I'm sure things will make sense eventually...,it took me a while before I made my mind up.

Hi Francine, just remember to take your time .....don't rush things otherwise youll end up making mistakes like I did .End result.........having to go back and do things all over again !!! I have been thru my lessons several times and its surprising what you actually miss !

This is a good start! If you don't have a website niche already, I would recommend Affiliate Bootcamp.
Get involved in discussions and live chat, use the search bar at the top of the page to look for info.

Do I make a "how to" website and then within my website advertise WA with my affiliate link or banner? If so, how do I drive traffic to my website? Does WA offer free hosting? Yes, you can develop a "how to" website: how to get started, how to build a website for free, how to do keyword research etc. And you can have affiliate links to WA and Jaaxy .com and make referrals that way.
As Mike has said, all the info is in the Affiliate Bootcamp, take it step by step as it is a process that takes time. Cheers.
Choose one of the training courses to focus on, narrowing that part might minimize the confusion, and what I've done is to review the video training more than once to help clear things up, or you can access the question box to see if your
questions are already being answered.
