Do You See Life As A Great Adventure?
Many people deny themselves the adventure because of the risk of failure. Life is a balance between surviving and thriving. We can get too involved in simply surviving and lose sight of finding ourselves and sharing our talents.
Yes, life can be difficult, but just accept that and see it as an adventure. Live it as one.
Which game are you playing? Are you playing not to lose, or are you playing to win? If you are playing not to lose, then survival is your goal. You use strategies of avoidance, self-protection, and self-promotion.
Playing to win is a conscious choice. If you give up the right to conscious choice, you lose your power.
You deny growth when you play not to lose. What holds you back is self-imposed. When you play to win you take the risks of self-discovery and of thinking for yourself. With courage, you go as far as you can. With creativity, you use all you've got to get there.
Accept accountability for your life. Be willing to try things that make you uncomfortable. Get away from fear-based ego. Do things every day that make you uncomfortable. That's how you stretch your boundaries.
Doing you best, learning and growing, is playing to win. Put emphasis on the "play." As a child you had fun winning. Remember that feeling.
Do what you love and love what you do. You can start saying you will "go to fun," not that you will "go to work." We need to get rid of the idea that work and fun don't go together. Our creative part dwells in the part of us that is "child," so remember to approach your day with that young spirit.

You're absolutely right and trying to change my perspective in writing which is something I don't enjoy at all. Trying my level best to break it.
Thanks Fran for this reminder. Life is beautiful and let's have some fun.
Hugs,
Bel
Every day is an adventure because my adventure is learning from day to day from whatever comes forth.
At 77 years and seven months, I still have twenty-two years and five months to learn how to live a positive full life.
Get off your rear and keep your life's adventure going forward as your eyes are in the front of your head not in the back of it.
Laughter is the best medicine and I am full of it.

Hey Fran and good morning
I was just talking about this yesterday with a friend as my child plays a lot and I love it so much.
I will always nurture my child as I know how much that spirit has given me along the way
This post has made me smile today and has encouraged me to always keep being me and when I grow up I'm gonna be at least 120 :) well maybe older lol
I love my business and its always fun and this is how it should be for everyone as the creativity is always more refreshing.
Thank you my friend

Thank you Fran, I think that I have been out of my comfort zone from the moment I stepped into WA, but I love the challenge, it is fun and my inner child can come out to play😀 I do believe wholeheartedly in taking risks and changing the focus from playing not to lose to playing to win. You are a very creative writer and thank you for sharing this message.

Nicely done Fran
Even though life has a way of giving you the EXAM first and the lesson 2ND its truly still in the attitude of the Gamer.

I love that -- the exam first and the lesson second -- often it is too true. Pop quizzes -- we get them all the time. Keeps us on our toes.
Great blog thank you. Since joining WA I feel like I am playing to win, throwing it all out there, I am surprising myself with some new found courage, creativity and a little bit of entrepreneurial spirit. Loving it.
No more playing not to lose for me.
Thanks for sharing
Sometimes is not that great :)
But is definitely an adventure!
A unique one!
Thanks for the beautiful thoughts Fran!
You gotta take the good with the bad, unfortunately. However, your outlook toward what you face can certainly make a difference in your results.
