7 months in Wealthy Affiliate: Reached My First Goal!

February was a busy month for me.

My family members were down with flu one after another (me included), making it a bit difficult to post new blog articles consistently.

Additionally, we've done a bit of travelling and I'm busy preparing for my son's Primary 1 enrolment (sigh..., since when a primary school student-to-be must undergo written exams... World is definitely becoming more and more competitive).

But despite those busy events, I am glad that I can still see some decent improvements in my website.

• My page view has surpassed 10k views per month, wohoo.. Not a drastic improvement compared to what I've seen last month, but still, it makes me happy
• For the very first time, I am able to reach my first monetary goal, exceeding $500 this month. Well, of course, this is not much compared to what I used to earn when working full time, but still, considering I'm only working 1-2 hours per day on my spare time, I am so grateful with this achievement.
• Recently, I am invited to Amazon CPM Ads. As far as I know, this is an invite-only ad program, which I am pretty excited to try, considering my website was not approved for Google Adsense. Anybody using this ads program right now? What's your opinion about it?
• My Twitter followers have been increasing steadily, though still not much, thanks to TweetJukebox (PS: if you are looking for more Twitter follower, try it out!)
• I am learning to craft more engaging tweets, and true enough, the level of engagement and click through is increasing. I just need to be more consistent with this (I.e. Tweeting regularly).

What's next?

• I will be playing around with Amazon Ads and see how much profitable it is
• Still, publish regular quality content twice a week
• I am targeting to write my very first WA training. Any of you read my blog post of how to set up a Twitter card? Do you think it will be worth to convert it to a step-by-step training tutorial? I have another topic to write on, but if you think the Twitter card lesson is worth to do first, then I'll tackle that.
• Aiming for a new monetary goal, $1000 per month. We will see if this can be achieved before my one year anniversary with WA.

New WA members, I hope this post can inspire you that you too, can achieve the same success, and even beyond.

Simply follow the training and most importantly, ask questions.

There are a lot of WA members that will answer your question readily (even within minutes!)

Don't spend too much time in Google before you try searching answer within WA community.
