10-months in WA: Getting Out of My Comfort Zone
Hello all,
It's been a while since I'm writing my last blog post.
I took a long break for taking care of my family, combating illnesses (talk about surgery and hospitalization here) and a few more weeks of recovery.
I admit, I was ready to accept that my website would be dead, given that I didn't post new content for almost 4 weeks!
But guess what?
Comments keep coming in, and special thanks to WA Site Comment platform, there always be a surprise comment or two (even though I didn't request any) that keep my website alive.
Thank you WA!
Stats wise, I've hit 25k page view per month, which is pretty exciting.
And my earning is steadily increasing, with the latest is just a few dollars away from my first revenue goal :1k/month! We'll see how much more it can go up further.
My infographics
Remember about my very first infographics here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/fiftarina/blog/my-... ?
I only have one infographic and you know what...
Right now it has been pinned for 12.3k in Pinterest. Woww..
This also made Pinterest as my second source of traffic after organic search.
Please know that I only have less than 300 Pinterest followers and do not pin regularly.
Don't you think that infographic is powerful?
I do.. and that's why I plan to create more in the future.
And, if you haven't made any single infographics for your website, by all means, I highly recommend you to create one and share it on social media.
You never know how it would change your traffic.
Working on My Email List
Every month I keep putting 'start an email list' in my to-do-list but never get it done.
I guess I feel dreaded to do all the technical stuff and start writing to my subscribers regularly.
But this past month, I decided that I need to start, and I'm glad I did.
I started by doing a survey about my target audience, and ask the survey respondents if they would be interested in joining my newsletter.
I reached out to my friends, sharing in Fb groups, and even asked some influential bloggers to share the survey for me!
Imagine you're asking some big guys with huge followers to share something for you?
I was scared and hopeful at the same time.
And guess what, I got a 'yes' from those bloggers, yay... *doing happy dance*
At the end of my survey period, I got 100+ respondents with 50% interested in joining my newsletter.
Not bad for a first-timer, right..
My list is still small, but I am confident it will grow bigger steadily.
We'll see!
So, that's all the update for this month, I hope to be able to blog regularly again.
Cheers,
Rina

Hi Rna and this is amazing news - I am so pleased that you shared this as it gives me a kick up the backside to start a email list but same as you just getting the time to get it started also the Infographics sound cool
But I stated playing with video two weeks again and getting good response on this so I will continue with this but thanks for the inspiration
Hi Paul, haha, yes, it seems like a big thing to do.
My suggestion is focus on one thing at a time. If you started on video and getting good result, then focus on that first, before jumping onto new stuff.

That is fantastic progress! Very interesting to hear about your infographic. I've also been putting off getting an email list set up. I really need to get on that!
yes, I have started my listbuilding and still need to constantly remind myself to continue doing this, haha. It's a lot of learning, but I guess it will be worth in the future.
