We Are Spoilt Here at Wealthy Affiliate
I think that we are rather spoilt here at Wealthy Affiliate, the resources, the training the wealth of information the sense of belonging to something that is truly special and unique.It can make you feel really appreciative.
Just got up at "stupid o'clock" to watch a webinar by a big name player, you guessed right they didn't turn up, so frustrating.
Rant done and dusted, move on!
In the quiet of the night I have spent some time traveling around the corridors of WA, just came to the realization that this place never sleeps the sun is always shining somewhere in the world. It is great to be a part of a group of like minded folks all striving to create that better lifestyle for themselves and their loved ones.
A month at WA and your life will never be the same again, if you do something that is and keep doing stuff.
There are times of angst, nothing is perfect I kind of liken it to growing pains, they soon pass, all in all, it is a good place to be both learn some skills and more importantly to implement those new skills.
A fundamental Problem
Here is my fundamental problem with WA perhaps it is too easy, the resources included in the premium membership are quite something else, it is a streamlined constant process of delivery and innovation. It kind of flies in the face of what is the norm online, usually products or services are upgraded at a cost to the user, here the improvements are included in the experience. that is something unique in the industry from my perspective.
Living off the fat of the land can make you lazy and take the edge off, it is so easy to lose that focus and not appreciate what is there at your disposal. I have a sneaking suspicion that I may from time to time slip into that category.
So my new mantra is "make the most of the opportunity, go a little bit harder" would be interested to see how you folks see it.

Yes I must admit that sense of belonging to something is as prevalent as people wanting to associate themselves with the Dallas Cowboys. They need to feel good about themselves in some way.
I fully understand the psychology behind it and I understand why it is necessary to keep people paying. More power to wealthy affiliate.
Classic Jay, feeling good about yourself aligns with feeling good about others, you have to admit I am sure that we are in a good place, why be here otherwise............ awesome.
It is a peppercorn rental for the resources that we have exposure to, cheap as chips.
I really had many problems the last couple of days. I moved to another city, my girlfriend had a car accident( everything is fine) my new home has a crappy internet connection and I am still waiting for my provider to connect my own line. I had to move my girlfriend's stuff too because she moved out as well and I also had to take care of her because her left foot really hurts so I had to help her. And all that in a country like Greece where the financial resources are extremely limited and everything gets worse year after year. However, my time spent at WA is something unique for me. Whenever I'm active here either spending time creating content or posting on social media or even when I am just offering comments and feedback or continue with Kyle's training, I feel great and I can not wait to get back to it tomorrow. That tells me that I am on the right path

How true! :) That's why every once in awhile we need little reminders to stay focused! We need to keep lists on what needs to be done that day, and hold ourselves accountable to them, and our online business! :)
Hi Terry so true, one of the hardest things about marketing online is that much of what we do is of a solitary nature it can be hard to keep that focus and accountability. That daily list of tasks can work wonders for sure, it is hard to beat that feeling of ticking off those tasks as completed. thank you for stopping by.
Alex you are so right.
My challenge with this wealth of information and support is two fold:
1- It is tempting to get so involved in so many elements of training and mutual support that it can slow down the work of short term progress on my business - this requires a bit of time management
2- When I encounter a fellow WA member that is clearly capable, but is using others without giving back I get steamed about it - which is odd, because while it is rare here, it is the norm everywhere else. You'd think after a couple decades of dealing with this sort of behavior, I'd be ready for it. But a few weeks of WA has cleaned away most of my patience for such selfishness.
We each have our reactions to this wealth of help and support...

Hi, Steve, you have raised some really valid points, there are so many things to tempt us here at WA and as you say time management figures in a lot of them, if we can manage our time then we are halfway there for sure.
The thing about WA is that everything is on display, I used to get ticked off at times, the thing is that everyone sees what is happening in the community many hold their own council, sometimes it just takes time for folks to adjust to this environment. At the end of the day what others do or don't for that matter doesn't really have an impact on our income.

You can select one thing an concentrate fully on it Alex or you can be dazzled by every bright object available here. The solution is to focus and KEEP a committed schedule!
Definitely, agree with you Mike immersion can be the way to get on top of things it may take an hour or a day or a couple of months focusing on outcomes is the way to go thank you for sharing your wisdom.
Yes Alex, I totally agree. The training is right THERE and sometimes its so easy we choose not to look at it.
It's always good to kick yourself in the butt and get moving again!
Classic Kaju, there is certainly an abundance of information here, finding and utilizing it can be an issue at times.
Really like your closing statement, every day brings something new, give it heaps.

I certainly agree with you on one level. But I find WA far from easy. It is a lot of work...training, learning, writing, community support. Discipline is my biggest challenge...I get sidetracked by all the WA posts...some of which are way ahead of me but I like to read them anyways. Mind you, these are all good things. I thank WA every day!

Hi, Debbie, I agree with you, online marketing is not the easiest thing to do, I was more coming from the resources that are available through premium membership they just help us so much and when we get our heads around things, really streamline our business opportunities.
I know that feeling it is so easy to get side tracked, nothing like a list and ticking those tasks off once completed. thank you for sharing your thoughts.
