Hurricane Harvey Survival :

Last Update: August 28, 2017

So Hurricane Harvey busted through my city of Corpus Christi over the last couple of days and I'm happy to say most of my close friends came away with only minimal damages. For a category 4 hurricane, the city really got lucky. As a firefighter I had to work during the hurricane and the city was unrecognizable in certain areas with no power and trees blocking roadways everywhere, but a couple days later it seems like we're back to status quo.

I'm extremely happy to say that thanks to Wealthy Affiliate, while I was going through this, my website was working in the background giving me my highest paying month yet. There's nothing like making passive income from work you did months back. I absolutely love it and can't stress highly enough how this system truly works. Trust the system! Be patient and take every step Kyle trains you to take!

Wealthy Affiliate has been an incredible ride for me! If you need any help or have any questions, I'm more than happy to help. If you're just starting, take full advantage of the ultra discounted first premium month, and then once that month is over, take full advantage of going yearly! All this training for an average of $29/month is unbeatable!

Thanks again to WA and the entire WA community for all the support. I'm so happy and fortunate to be a part of such a great community.

You will be feeling relieved Eric, it will take some time for folks to get back on top of things. It is good to hear that your business was ticking over in the back ground that just about says it all.

I live just south of Houston, Texas and we weren't as fortunate. I did blog my experience with Harvey just this afternoon but t am too shaken to discuss the devastation that has occurred at this point.

Thank you for your work as a first responder. Did you get a chance to drive to Houston to help with any evacuations from all the flood zones? People came from everywhere by Monday. I'm sure you did because we Texans are family. Thanks again for your service.

Sorry to hear that, Carole... I'm so sorry. I know there's several groups making their way to both the Houston area and the Port Aransas and Rockport areas from Corpus to help out. I can't because of my work schedule, but I know those guys at HFD are doing all the good :)

Hope you have a speedy recovery!

I have been watching the flooding devastation unfold on TV here in Australia and it is wonderful the way people have joined together to help each other. God bless you all and keep you safe.

This is what happens in America everytime there is a need. I'm proud of every person that calls Americs home. What I have seen the last few days involved no prejudice, no racism and no politics. It Is quite extraordinary to see everyone in "one accord."

This is a side of the human race that makes me proud to belong. It is a shame it takes a tragedy to bring out the best in us. It is the same here in Australia when bad things happen people are ready to help. It's a pity we could not be like this all the time.

That is great to hear Eric. I just left you a comment on your site. You must be getting good traffic, you have so many enthusiastic comments! I appreciate that your WA review is so thorough!

I left a comment on the Organo Gold coffee review though...I have had it but you can buy it on Amazon...so I don't see how anyone makes any money off of it!

Glad to hear that you, family and friend came out of the storm OK! It looked really bad on TV and I'm sure some got it a lot worse than others. I live in Florida so I know all about how hurricanes can hit some harder than others. I salute you for being one of our brave firefighters!

It's truly inspiring to know that you've been able to have that passive income flowing in while doing other things... like helping people there in Corpus, as well as here in WA!! Another blessing, and a great one!

Happy to hear you're okay and damages were minimal. I saw videos on the news of all the flooding. Great of you and so many others to be out in the middle of the storm pitching in and helping out wherever needed!
I can imagine there's definitely a level of comfort knowing that your business is still working for you and allowing you to take some time away when needed for more critical things like this. :)
