WA Training Works - Sales Update!
Hey everybody, I thought I would update you all on my sales for my fishing niche website. I sold my second item through one of my reviews. It's my second one in about a month and a half. Only $1.62 but it's something. It was an amazon product. The first one I sold I got a .76 cents commission on so I have over doubled my profits!
It's small but it shows that the training here at WA does work if you work it. The sale I made came from a product review I did back in January. I had totally forgotten about it.
Just be patient and in time you will start seeing results. They probably won't be huge results at first but they will come. I started this website back in late November when I first joined Wealthy Affiliate. So it's been about 6 months and I got my first sale around the 4-month period. I'm about on track on how long the training tells use that we will start seeing results.
My advice... Keep cranking out product reviews and quality content. Keep practicing the training here and you will see results. Be patient and your success will come just don't ever give up. Success is just around the bend!

Thank you for spurring us on to greater heights for it can get very discouraging when it seems that nothing is happening.
I've been reading a lot of the posts by members who have fought the journey on the difficult road to success and persevered, and yes it takes time and sometimes you think, "Is it all worth it?"
.... and when you're just about to throw in the towel...
People like you come along and encourage us to persevere.
One thing I will say is that most people who do the training expect to see results within 1-3 months... that is not normally the case... Kyle points out in the training that to be reasonable, we need to give it at least a year to 18 months before we can REALLY see some income coming in, and even then it's not guaranteed.
But as you so correctly point out, our focus should not be on the income, our focus should be on creating content and doing that until it comes out of our ears, which I believe would never happen, so just keep blogging! :-)
The ultimate focus should be on BUILDING A BUSINESS!
If we treat our niche market as a business, we will be more serious about making it work.
I know my outlook changed once that penny dropped and I believe it makes a huge difference to the way you write your content and you're more focused to achieving the goals posted in SiteContent.
At first it seems an insurmountable task to achieve the goals set, but if you just start writing and write from the heart as if you were having a conversation with someone about what you want to help others with, you will be TOTALLY SURPRISED to see that you will reach your goal every time!
Try it! You can do it!

All you said is very true. And yes it is a business and our business is helping others with whatever problems or concerns that they face in the niche that we are in!
I'm about the same as you 6 months in, I have had sales and my earnings so far are around £40. About 7 sales. Keep at it, it will get better with better rankings that will surely come. I am still as excited as when I first joined. But if I told people, I had paid $350 and worked for 6 months for £40, they would look at me funny. It takes a strongly motivated person to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Yeah, it does take motivation and persistence to continue. We all need to believe in ourselves and success will come in due time! If it was easy everyone would be doing it.
