Navigate Limbo in 4 Easy Steps

Betwixt and between. Neither here nor there.

... Having told my clients I would leave our employ within three years (May 31 2017) and,

... Having upgraded the WA membership to Premium,

I jumped from fixating on a relatively safe shoreline of known income and known clients into a sea full of unknowns toward a new shoreline we call, smart passive income, etc.

I've given myself three years to arrive; I cannot afford to give more time to the status quo.

But! having committed to the journey -- having tossed myself into the sea between shores -- but not actually being there, is an agitating limbo. To assuage this agitation, I write a list of very concrete, doable, tasks to complete within the immediate seven days; such as:

• Complete Course 1, Lesson 3 on the WA Activity Dashboard

• Write a list of very concrete, relevant and doable tasks for this week (and order it); such as:

• • e.g.1, get the EPP Authorisation Code from GoDaddy to transfer my niche domain to Bluehost (and thus not pay in two different places)
  • e.g.2, explore wordpress.org and decide on a theme for the domain I've now parked on Bluehost; upload chosen theme with Missy's help if need be
  • e.g.3, start training, Lesson 1+ in the Affiliate Classroom/Bootcamp to better understand how to redesign my current site to function as a WA-affiliate site
  • e.g.4, continue WA community support: comment on Onyeka's new site http://anyonecanblog.com/ ... check in with Russ's progrss at https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/russstewart ...
  • e.g.4, tab by tab, work through the WA updates one at a time, applying what I learn as I go
• Share/exchange and commit to said task-list(s) with a Real-Time Buddy (Missy, in my case, an American expatriate also living here in Barcelona) , and-or with Virtual Buddies here on WA (e.g., 4 above); friends who are swimming alongside toward the same shore. (This is a shared journey, not a competition.)

• After the week's timeframe ends, review the results of tasks with said Buddies and set new tasks accordingly. 04 APRIL UPDATE: DONE & DOING !!

• Repeat steps 1 through 4, one stroke at a time, until desired shore is reached.

We've all heard: it's the journey, not the destination. And I agree. But since we're not robots either, may I suggest that fatigue and wanting to just be there already is also ok; that we're working a process, a process like, growing a plant from seed, or running a marathon: A process that requires our steady, calm and ongoing effort: a process which sometimes can, in fact, be tiresome.

But the beautiful shoreline whereon to plant our feet is in front of us. The decision to go there has been made. Stopping now is to drown and turning back to more-of-the-same is ridiculous, perhaps pathetic, because the Game-changing Place lies ahead, not behind. We're not pioneers anymore; other people have already done all this and more; so can we.

The shore awaits. Keep stepping.
