So, You Want To Earn Some Money Online
So, you want to earn some money online. Well, this is much easier said than done. The Internet is gargantuan. To make money online
from a single website is definitely possible, however, you must have an ENORMOUS amount of content
. Even when you generate an enormous amount of content, you must continue to produce large volumes of information on a daily basis. The reason you need a ridiculously large amount of content is because you need to carve out a large enough area of cyberspace
to get significant attention. If you are not generating at least one thousand visitors
to your site on a daily basis, the chances that you will make any money
are extremely low. There are exceptions to this, however, the exceptions are few. The reason you need to produce large volumes of content on a REGULAR BASIS is because the amount of content on the Internet
is growing exponentially
every minute. If you want to generate money consistently from your online endeavors, you must keep up with the production rate
. View it as a foot race. If you don't at least keep pace with the other runners, you are certain to fall behind. So, if you have decided that you want to make money online, you ABSOLUTELY MUST be busy generating content. A typical full time job
requires 40 hours a week of work. If you want to succeed online
, you need to be working on your website
and producing content for at least 40 hours each week. Don’t burn out, just put in consistent effort.

If you don't want to burn out but still want to keep the production, I think outsourcing is a good strategy. Especially for those still trapped in the 9-5...
When you start making some money online, take a percentage to reinvest and make more content work for you.
Many times the content will be rubbish of course, but then you need to fix and increase quality. Or, throw it all away and move on, until you find a reliable freelancer.
I'm sure you're right about producing large volumes of content, but not many people just starting out have 40 hours a week to devote to this in the beginning.
I am not going to argue with you, I'm sure there are stats to back your points.
However for me, less is better.
When I come to sites with pictures, banners, pop-ups galore and page after page of content, I move on.
Of course I'm not the person most marketers are targeting either.
I do not view that as quality content. Perhaps, I need to clarify my post with the words "quality content". Thanks.
How about a site like 10beasts.com that has 9 main posts and makes $4000 + per month after just 6 months online?
There is always more than one way to do something. There is no perfect way.

Great post. I know this is going to take hard work, I've stopped thinking so much about making money, I'm concentrating on building my site.
Hi I love your comment and that's exactly what I am doing. I feel if I am focused on money only then my site will not be authentic. Yes,this goes for blog sites as well. If you are just selling a product then your focus is to sell the product but when you are more of a blog website than that means it's a little more personal so if you are focused on money I feel like you won't make any.
