Make A Big Life Decision!
I have been VERY busy these last few weeks. First we are getting my granddaughter ready to embark on a new adventure in her life. She is going to be starting a new school!!! We have so many decisions to make.
LIFE DECISION #1-NEW SCHOOL
In the United States, Fort Worth, Texas to be exact her school changes at the 5th grade so that she get to make a change. What that means for her is that she now gets to go to a new school. And for Mom and Grandma that means she is growing UP:( She is no longer a little baby)
LIFE DECISION #2-APARTMENT
Now we still have to figure out where we are going to move to. I know I shouldn't be concerned with this but I am.
We have all lived together since my kids were born until about 10 years ago when I sold the house and moved into an apartment by myself. Then about 4 years ago I developed medical problems and couldn't live alone so my son moved in with me as my roommate so I wouldn't have to go into assisted living.
For the last 2 years I have lived with both my kids and granddaughter so I could help out as her caretaker after school.
Now her Mom, boyfriend, and granddaughter are going to live in an apartment while my son and I live in another. My son and I have had a VERY hard time finding an apartment we can qualify for.

Life decisions Elaine, we are all confronted with this situation, so you are certainly not alone there.
I think we have to believe that there is no right or wrong decisions, we make choices based on the resources that we have around us at the time.
You have loving and caring family surrounding you which is wonderful support. So many wonderful minds.
If We think for ourselves and with a bit of our own intuition, I am sure that the right choices will be made.
Your plans and new directions will come together i’m sure!

Hi Elaine, some exciting times for your Granddaughter as she embarks on this new adventure and some challenging times for you.
Gee whiz we just don't know the paths that others travel, I hope that everything works out all good for you, you will miss that time with your granddaughter so best wishes as you adjust and find that new accommodation.
Sometimes being involved in WA and having the focus that we can create something that can be lifechanging can be worth its weight in gold.

Thanks for sharing. Life decision can be so tricky at times. I have been homebound with a terminally ill husband. I find it helpful to take quiet moments to myself and put my faith in a higher being. Blessing to you my friend.
