Reasons Why You Should Enter Into Quality Content World
I tell you a true story, my own experience, to give you a picture why you as a blogger, should enter into and live in the Quality Content World.
One of my friends is working in a company which imports and sells stationery. Having such a good access to stationery, he recently made a gift to my child. My kid got from him quite a box with nice stationery stuff she needed at school.
She also got a cool looking liquid ink pen. (I don't name the maker of the pen).
Anyway, it's cool looking, also called ergonomic pen and one of the top articles for that maker.
The problem was, the pen, although with cool design and expensive price tag, did not quite work the way we expected it.
There was another problem with the pen. The sharp front end of the pen leaked. It's like you were a first grader who don't know how to use the pen. You come home and all your fingers are blue. Did you have this experience when you were in the first grade?
Then the pen died, even though it still was filled with ink. Cool looking but completely useless.
So when I met my friend again I told him the story. I said that even though this pen should have been kind like top product in that maker's list, in fact, I had very bad experience with it. I did not like it, neither I was interested to purchase a refill.
My friend, the reseller of those pens, laughed and said he knew about those problems. He had visited the maker, their office, and already let them know about the complaints.
Do you know what they answered?
They told him this: Yes, they know that it leaks like that and they are going to change the white, sharp front end (which is a white plastic) with a... BLACK plastic!
So that the leaking can't be seen!
What?! Can you believe it? Does it solve the problem?
Nooooooooooo!!!
It only HIDES the problem!
The pen leaks and I cannot use it.
My friend says the maker does not invest into improving its ink quality (to make faster drying ink, etc). They only try to improve its design to sell it with a higher price.
The problem is, I am not satisfied with it. I am not happy with it! I cannot use it!
Conclusion
How is this connected with the WA, blogging and creating content?
If you want your customers being happy with you, your content and your website, if you want them return and "buy refills", you have only one option - offer a high quality service, high quality content!
If you don't provide high quality content but rather try to cheat, selling crap in a "colourful box", people will turn away from your site and never return.
I know, if you start blogging, you do many mistakes and maybe your first blog posts (maybe first 20 or first 50 posts) are awful, but you learn and each next post becomes better. One day you will be an expert.

But your attitude should me right. Your attitude should be to give the best you can. Somehow people know your heart and attitude behind your articles. You write your articles, you write yourself into them. Your customers either learn to trust you or they go away.
It's a long term race and you build it up brick by brick, step by step, and if your attitude is right, one day your blog is a great data resource for others.

Thank you very much for the encouragement. Blogging in English is continually stretching me. But I have found that it is good. It forces me out from my comfort zone. Yes, step-by-step and bit-by-bit I become better. But I also need friends like you :)
Love your quotes you have used here. Be so ridiculously great at what you do....that is what you should focus on here at WA with your niche and your website.
Nobody EVER starts off as an expert and every person you look up to as an expert in their field once started off as a complete newbie. That should give everyone motivation to become successful at whatever they want, through time and effort you can create a substantial business within any niche or interest you want.
The maker? No. It's one of the European big brands. This is why I was so surprised to see such a low quality job.
Yes that is a great analogy as Cubandane says. Egonsarv - your English is improving at a vast speed...I just must help you by saying when talking pencils and pens "stationery" is the correct spelling not "stationary" that is when a car or vehicle is not moving. The English language is very hard to grasp but you are doing just fine! I must add I don't want than pen if their quantity supply is more important than quality! Point taken.

This is the Apple wonder. I have always wondered how Samsung and other Android makers make tons of different phones, yet Apple is able to compete with them only with 1 (these days 2) models! Impressive. But it's only because of quality.
I watched the movie Steve Jobs again last night. It is not quality as much as it is prestige. Yes, the quality is good, but not good enough to beat out all the competition. For some reason carrying an Iphone .carries prestige. This is what Steve Jobs set out to do for Apple computers from the very beginning!

This is just right on Egon and the story such a great example. There really is no way to way to hide behind intentions other than altruistic because people will sniff them out!
